Hoof football is officially over. We actually look like professional footballers rather than Greyfields amateurs . Featherstone spraying the ball around. The black lad from Charlton is quick and always taking players on. Mani should have scored a hatrick but 2 good saves from their keeper. Our defence looks solid and at least we are attempting to play the ball on the floor. It’s not perfect but it’s the best first half we had in ages. I can actually see some sort of tactics and organisation. If we get a second it’s game over. Well done Lenny

Much better. Apart from the first 5 mins we were in control for the next 90. Mani should have had 4 but I will settle for 2. At least the football was more pleasing on the eye. Certainly a confidence booster

some of the moaners would have been really upset yesterday watching the players pinging the ball about with a new confidence. the dressing room must feel like east berlin when they pulled the wall down.

lets hope this 2 weeks off has the lads even more raring to go for York - no injuries, everyone fit and in peak condition.

York will take some beating and it wont be a pretty game for the Pools fan to watch - i dare say they will take an early lead and they will be the best team we will have come up against this season - but we know we can dig deep and find goals. We will match them for possession id imagine and both teams will want to play football and use the talented forwards both teams have. Be a cracking game.
