Play him
Do nothing but punt high balls to him
Take him off at half time

This guy really is a clueless 'lovely lovely person'

Let’s be honest he hasn’t had a decent game yet and even when he got the ball on the ground he did nothing.

He is a top quality player who needs balls to feet and quick passing and movement otherwise it's like putting a top race horse in a farmers field to do the ploughing. But to achieve that very easy very good on the eye football he needs the Mancinis and Greys and Featherstones ManiDs Charmans etc to play in the same team it's not rocket science. These players are all very good footballers and all need to play together especially in the home games.

true, but he must be a better player than what we have seen so far. seemed liked by the gateshead fan and part for a league 2 promotion team.

You can see that Campbell I'd a quality player but needs the ball on the ground and quality players making intelligent runs in front and around him. He's being made to look poor by an inept manager.

He like all of them need good players around them…in truth I would probably put him behind Mancini in pecking order as our number 10, but they all play better when ball is into feet and they have options to either pass and move or dribble, under Sarll it’s punted up so quickly that even if they ‘win their battles’ which is all Sarll values, then there aren’t enough players near them to create anything with

2nd half Mancini, mani D, charman (who am not a huge fan)
And Ferguson were at least close enough to each other in the oppo half to give them options
If you are a defender against Mancini and he has a couple of options you are in trouble at this level, if no one near him it’s less of a threat

This is all really basic basic stuff but our manager is just obsessed with
The defensive side and hoping for a mistake to substitute for creativity

I should point out he’s a bit Walter Mitty and away with the fairy’s.
Unless someone on the bridge grabs the wheel off him sharpish, we’ll be going down.

That would be Lennie then, The one fans were slagging off the other week, I doubt Snarll would have made those changes, If they werent forced on him
Too busy thinking of his non image.

Imagine the other 23 teams with a talented squad like ours.
The managers would be over the moon. Even Barnet York n Gateshead.

We so far underachieving on a major scale which has nothing to do with the Chairman Players n Fans.

It's a one man demolition job of destruction for sure. :angry-tappingfoot:

Parkes, dodds, Mancini, grey and mani D would be in the 1st team squads of any team in this league (not saying 1st 11 but the bench at least)

This idiot drops 3 of them then can’t understand why we aren’t scoring

if all 5 were put on the transfer list they,d all be gone in a week to clubs higher up the league than us.

exactly fact ! risk loosing them

DS out for me im sick of him... Ferguson needs replacing too.

a really good manager with technical football knowledge would have this set of players top 3 just now.

Why would you think that? Sarll chucks loads of subs on every time we go behind in a game, hoping something with stick.
Lennie Lawrence is the reason Sarll got here and is still here
Think Snowy has something a bit more drastic in mind than making a few substitutions when he talks about 'grabbing the wheel off him sharpish.'

To be fair don’t all managers chuck subs on when things are going upside down hoping for the best.

apart from sarll they are heroes when that comes off. thats why he should be gone as i doubt he,ll ever get credit now at pools for anything but a resignation letter. like leaving your partner you reach the point of no return and nothing will persuade you to do anything different.

Yes but they also often change the style of play etc. Sarll normally chucks on a load of subs which are either like for like or purely attacking leaving us with 5 attackers 1 midfielder and 4 in defence while still hoofing it. The issue being the hoofing hasn't worked at all and continues not to especially as the players he brings on are smaller, technical players. Saturday and Boston were the only times he's switched to a more technical passing game and allowed us to build up from deep and look what happened in both of those games...

that is true and i cannot fathom out why. its not as if he was a crap signing at the outset but proving he might be one of our worst.

He's been a massive disappointment and I can't understand why he is starting games as he is contributing nothing. We are literally playing with 10 men.

Correct Leggie, the Brotherhood of Doom and Gloom might get sexually aroused by this tosh but he did play for fast, quick passing football played along the ground at clubs who were playing that style of football and successful and he was rated.
Jeeeez.

Apart from not finishing any of his chances on Tuesday he was the best of the 3 CMs by a long way. Sheron was fairly quiet and
d Fev was anonymous.

Campbell is a proper football but he'd be appreciated more if he found his shooting boots. He's another one missing decent chances every game at the minute.

When Mancini is fit (and we could do with an update on that) Campbell will be under real pressure for his place.

Endof the day it was yet anutha non win.
At least 2 passengers in your sentence lacking the 100% commitment n effort which results in these non wins.

C and E can overcome a lack of skill especially in tinpot 5 division.

Limpers should be on trial for the remainder of the season.
Not given the job now.

Wordage eh.
Nearly Spring.
Jackpot.

He is a good player but not in this team and never will be because a lot of the players are either too slow or just not up to scratch in their reaction, understanding, awareness and ability.

Yep, some are demanding improvement then slating some of our better most gifted players. Obviously not a Beardsley, but he didn't look too clever either because he was surrounded by inferior players. Love to see Campbell up alongside Madine, both of whom still capable of playing higher league football imo.
