At the start of the season I thought we'd done well to hold onto Mancini, Mani, and Grey - all you'd think would command a fee and increase in value as the season progresses.
This moron drops the 3 of them@

I am seeing a pattern of avoidance emerging here. He seems to go from head to tails or red to black he reminds me of what people do when getting arrested for a serious crime. He is clearly trying to hoodwink us " Clever Dicks " and insanely believes he is doing just that. GET HIM GONE RAJ IF NOT YOU WILL BOTH BE GONE VERY VERY SOON. rakxe

he's back.......and hes talking shite again

Funny at the start he said Sutton will defend deep so we will 'have to have the ball' FFS !

then talks about its 'incredible' with all the chances we had we didn't score against FGR !--I think he still thinks we are in the days when all you see is the highlights so he can BS about what happened without people being able to watch 1st hand
Also makes the dubious claim our 'expected goals' is 11 higher than what we have....
Charman on the verge of something special.....so thats him playing before Grey, Manthurin, Mancini etc
Another boxing analogy thrown in....maybe leave those out given our disciplinary record eh Darren

Hopefully thats the last pre-match interview he does..funny after claiming how unlucky we were to lose to FGR the next interview is with Young, where hes praised for all the saves he made to keep the score down !

We only 12 games in. It takes time for the players to gel to a new system from last season.

A system that got the dropped /rested front line 40 goals with others chipping in.

More bullshit.
And certainly more evidence that his job isent on the line whatsoever.

I don't have an issue with a manager trying to put a positive spin on something or seeing a game differently to me. I can disagree with their opinion but I can appreciate where they're coming from e.g. trying to save their job. What I can (and do) have an issue with, is a manager constantly lying to the fans and the press. Last week it was I've been promoted (he hasn't ever), this week it's telling Robbie Stelling he has won 10 games in a row a few times - he has never done this, or even been unbeaten for 10 games. I also would love to see the statistical model which says we should've scored 11 more goals than we have. Having looked at different stats sites the best I can see is us under performing our xG (which I'm assuming is what he's referring to) by 3 goals? Just a small difference of 8 to the claim then Darren.

I’d get more sense out of the Shipping Forecast for all the good it would do.

he makes shit up as he goes along--also talks about this as its a blip----go back 50 years and find me a season where we have less points and goals at home after 6 games than we do now....even the Bob Moncur season our home record was better at this stage, as well as the Neil Cooper season when we got relegated from league 1 and YES...even the Hartley season we picked up a home win at the 6th time of asking.

I know our away record is bog standard, but at home we are historically bad so far--on a magnitude not seen in most people's lifetime in terms of goals and points, and this silly get expects us to believe hes seen it all before and its similar to what Sutton went through this season--he thinks we are stupid

The bedrock of a clubs season is its home tally, Away is a bonus.

If you have no bedrock we all know the outcome.

He is talking utter nonsense, taking bullshit to a level never ever achieved previously. I usually listen to the commentary but not this time.

If he could run the team as well as he can talk the talk we would be 12 games unbeaten on36 points but we are NOT you definitely can talk the talk but can not WALK the Walk so why not admit to us all the job is too big for you .

He hasn’t a clue how to save himself, or us.

Bit like Noah looking up at the Ark, turning to mrs Noah and saying ‘well I’m off home to get out of this fookin rain’

Takes time to gel and get used to a system, sure Barnet signed about 50 players and they have got used to it pretty quickly! He's full of shite

I don't get all this "we've got to go for it" and "come out swinging" bollocks when we all know he's going to set up on Saturday as if we're playing Man City and he doesn't want to lose by double figures.

He obviously thinks he’s talking a great game and anyone listening will be impressed. Doesn’t seem the case judging from comments here and on social media. He’s done isn’t he.

12 games in for me is a quarter of the season wasted.

yes. fans turn up to home games because of the form and play they see in them. nobody will come to the vic because of our away form no matter how good it is and in our case not very good.

to be fair he does come out with real bullshit nobodies believes but is it worse than listening to askey where neighbours were on suicide watch or nodding off listening to phillips. at least sarll is comedy value if nothing else.

Seems to me he was straining every sinew to not say anything stupid, which he just about avoided. The bit where he was praising Mani and Joe was pretty cynical though - he's got to get them back onside but it really didn't sound sincere and contradicted what he said last week, when he had a dig at them.
Yes, on a human level you don't want to see people having a tough time (and its also not good for Pools) but he's really not a likeable character imho.

Very few managers give you anything of interest in these talks, most have the communication skills of a dyslexic water Buffalo.
They’re a poor exercise in selling bullshit by the bucket load to the gullible, just blah, blah, blah…..you’re told nowt and learn nowt.

To be fair his interviews are now comedy value. Some of the nonsense this bloke talks is a great watch, more entertaining than his team. Apparently he has been through patches like this before, great just what we need a manager who goes on runs of 12 games of shit football, no entertainment, zero hope, losing against the worst side in the league and this is not a one off. Billy bullshitter dropped himself in it with that one. I wont be going again till this guy has gone wasted enough money watching that shit.
