Tonight should be another good game and one we can't wait for."

Ian McGuckin previews tonight's FA Youth Cup fixture.

Never mind Ian as you jump ship to Middlesbrough FC.

Escaping the mess? Or part of the problems?

Is it actually factually correct that he is going to the Boro or is it another Porter and Boyd fiction?

Can’t blame Gucky for leaving a sinking ship, even if he does scramble aboard the dubious safety of vessel MFC where he will doubtless bump into the familiar face of seaman Singh on regular occasions. Meanwhile everyone aboard the part-crippled hulk HUFC are desperately looking for signs of King Rat himself scurrying across the quayside onto a southbound Grand Central.

No idea if this is true or not but can you blame him if it is?
We lose academy status at the end of the season due to our EFL funding ending, so any academy player could leave for no fee if they wanted to. Last time we were here with Raj he closed it entirely. Gucky is the academy manager, is it not likely his job will not exist next year/he doesn’t have any confidence that it will and he’s jumped before he was pushed?

Have no issue with him leaving or staying.I just wondered if it was another Porter and Boyd invention or if it was actually true. I guess time will tell.

It is true he’s off and another black mark against the club. Despite Covid, little funding or support, he brought on Stephenson plus Storey and that other defender whose name I forget but who all have a chance. Best return for years.
Another from the club that higher leagues now benefit from.
