Trump always backs his words up.

I'm expecting a bit of positivity from these meetings.

But I still reckon when peace arrives our gas n Leccy bills won't go down.

USA are very lucky to have such a great leader.

Wish he was our Prime Minister.

Stalemate just as I expected, Putin holds all the ‘Trump’ cards, they met up like they were old pals Putin will never give up,if he does Russia will just rearm and try again.
Some brilliant AI generated clips were on X with the 2 of them unfortunately I can’t find them now, maybe Trumps mate Musk has removed them.

I reckon they're pretty close to a solution. Between them they've agreed what the future Ukraine will look like and Trump is going to give that message to Zelenski on Monday. Ukraine will lose a fair bit of territory, Russia will withdraw from a little bit, Russia will promise not to invade again and the US will tell Ukraine they'll help with security. Zelenski will have to accept no NATO membership and probably an election within a year so that there's a reversion to a Puppet President elected.
Think he'll also tell Zelenski the alternative is that the US will rein back it's supply of weaponry to them and Russia will increase the offensive. He'll also point out the absolute irrelevance of the EU and the rest of Europe with them being nothing but talking shops.

I assume you are joking, Russia will not withdraw and promise not to invade again, would you believe Putin if he said that ?Russia goal well Putins is to take over Ukraine and he is not going to give up after losing a million troops.

No not joking, I believe what I wrote, doesn't mean I believe Putin will stick to his word.
Trump is getting his mineral rights, Putin will get the territory he wants, and likely a new Ukrainian Puppet President. Trump a step nearer his Nobel Peace Prize.
If Putin had intended to take all of Ukraine he'd have done it by now, or it would have initiated either WW3 or would certainly have involved nuclear weaponry. He's not after the whole country, he wants the key industrial areas and a naval base, and he'll get it.

No where near a solution, Ukraine won’t give up the occupied territory of Ukraine and Putin won’t stop until he reaches Kyiv, as I said he has sacrificed to much to stop now.

Unless his ‘comrades’ have their bank balances depleted by sanctions and decide Putin becomes a liability.
It won’t be defeat on the battlefield that does for him, it’ll be the rouble.

Putin has no intention of going on to Kyiv. Zelensky will be pressured into accepting what Trump and Putin have agreed. Land will be ceded by Ukraine and the biggest winner will be Putin in that he'll keep the territories he wants and the naval base, he's stopped any possible accession of Ukraine into NATO and probably the EU, he's tested the waters and found out that both the EU don't have a coordinated defence plan or capability, and that NATO isn't going to intervene on behalf of non-NATO countries. Trump comes out with mineral rights and the image of being the peacemaker.

I've read that if you are an Oligarch then by definition you are corrupt. Every deal that is made you glean off 10%, it's just how it is and it is accepted BUT, here's the catch. If you step out of line in any way (use your imagination) then charges of corruption follow that can always be proved, and you then become an ex Oligarch.

This is why there is no trouble causing Oligarchs.

Jamie, how do you see it playing out then you're obviously not serious about Putin taking Kyiv? And Ukraine sure ain't going to defeat Russia so
there's going to be a diplomatic solution imo and the biggest winner will be Putin.
Zelensky going mob handed with Starmer and the other European leaders will have zero influence on the deal (carve up) agreed between Trump and Putin.

Putin won’t rest until Russia becomes like the USSR days pre Gorbachev, your naïve as Chamberlain was before WW2 saying he had an agreement with Hitler.

He's not even trying to take over the whole of Ukraine let alone World domination. I'm not naive at all, and this is feck all like Hitler and Chamberlain. Putin or his successor may very well pause and go again against either Ukraine or another neighbour, but there will be an end to the present war and it won't be by one side defeating the other by military force.

Looks like Zelensky is not prepared to give any of Ukraine up, the Europeans leaders were right up Trumps ar**. afraid he will withdraw his offer of arms supply to them. Putin won’t give in, no NATO troops and no Ukraine joining the EU. A prediction by one of the so called analysts at the current rate if no ceasefire is agreed the war could drag on for another three and half years.
According to reports Putin has no shortage of recruits with high salaries a signing on fee and a pension for life way above the national average.

Putin and Trump have agreed how to put an end to this, Zelensky will eventually agree to their terms. Quite clearly if he doesn't then Trump will withdraw all military support and Putin will take what he wants afterwards - the EU and the rest of Europe are neither united or strong enough to stop it

If Putin ‘wins’ it’s gives any country in the world the go ahead to invade any sovereign nation, what next, Putin will just march into the adjacent countries then Trump invades Greenland ?
