You're not allowed to talk cricket in here!

Onions is better than Flintoff- FACT.

It should have been four but Flintoff has just dropped a dolly in the slips.

Great morning of cricket - hopefully we can get the Aussies wrapped up quickly after lunch. Onions better than Freddie - lets not go over the top just yet or shoult that be OTT for the text speak lovers...?

On England bowlers I think Broad is massively over rated.....

I wouldn't say Broad is particularly over-rated. Most cricket fans, while acknowledging his potential, recognise that he has a lot of work to do before the can be secure as a Test cricketer.

As for Flintoff, he's one of those cases where the stats don't tell the whole story. There was discussion a couple of weeks before the first Test when Flintoff's fitness wasn't certain. Ryan Sidebottom's name cropped up. Now whichever way you choose to measure it (wkts per innings, 5 wt hauls, average, strike rate, economy) Sidebottom is a superior Test bowler to Flintoff. Except... he isn't. Australia would be delighted if Flintoff was unavailable and replaced by any other English bowler.

The thing about broad as well he can bat

Why does Boycs sound completely different on TV compared to when he's on radio? He loses his overt Yorksherness.

I've just been watching Five's highlights (because I can't get enough of Onions' first two balls today - no double entendre pick-ups, please) and it took me a while to realise it was Boycs commentating.

Athers commentary on Sky was far better. Whilst it's pretty sad to say, it gave me a tingle listening to Athers commentating on the first two balls, especially the second.
