Come on Snowy, your original comment was that butterworth was answering the questions because wilson was commentating in hull. you can hardly say that was the case if the game he was commentating on was six days later.

Anyway, let's just leave it cos there's no point keeping on arguing about something that doesn't really matter.
Of course it matters or you wouldn't be discussing the point. In all honesty I actually believed he was commentating within a day or so, but that's not the point really is it... ? If he can go to Hull to commenate on a match, but can't get round to answering fans questions about his own team, there have to be some bleedin obvious conclusions drawn.

Going back to the original point of this thread.

In that Wilson left because of a lack of enthusiasm. It is as believable as some of the others going around are.

On the night of the 18th October, after we had come back from 2-0 at Walsall, I posted a thread called we got the 3 points within that thread I put the following comment.

MAYBE the fact we came back kept Wilson in a job, I dont say that likely, until today I had never really seen him celebrate goals scored by us. Today he was almost on the pitch punching and celebrating the first 2 goals, I cant comment on the third I was celebrating to much myself. Perhaps he knew a defeat would see him go soon.

I believe and this is just an opinion, that something is going on behind the scenes.

Do the player's want to play for Wilson ?

Have any of the player's got problem's with other player's ?

That win was the 1st of 4 ,since the last win of that sequence, Carlisle on October 28th, Wilson's record was no win in 6. Just maybe what I saw at Walsall with his celebration was as I called it. Winning 4 on the trot would have made it extremely difficult for Pools' to dispense with his services. Not winning in 6 makes it a lot easier.

Just maybe before Sweeney got the first back in the 72nd minute and Brown scored the winner in the 83 rd minute, Wilson was 18 minutes from the sack then.

Maybe he had already arranged to do the Hull game and therefore couldnt do Radio Tees.

For whatever reason he's left, why does it matter? most of you on here wanted him gone and he has yet you's still twist because you want to know all the sordid details!!

If I was sacked from work im sure I wouldnt want everyone knowing the reasons why and what went on because its no-one elses business.

He's gone, end of. soon we'll have another manager you can all complain about. yawn1

I read because there is the odd post that is worth reading and makes sense, along with the stick POK receives. But this sort of stuff is a waste of time imo. Pools will never come out and tell why managers have left or why certain decisions have been made, thats not their way so why keep going on about wantng to know why Danny left when you wont find out????

There is no reason why Pools need to tell us why Wilson left, in much the same way as I would not expect my bosses to announce to the world why I had left their employment. Get over it !!

Thats a fair point. Although most of them are ridiculous, some of the rumours are funny but it does go a bit OTT and I cant see what dragging it out longer and longe rwill do. I love a good twist as much as anyone but if its something that we'll never know I just think its best forgotten about.

They've already enquired about holding a 'talk-in' at the Millhouse Pub in January, CT, a senior player and probably Russ Green, this is a fact.
I took the phone call myself on Friday morning.

A couple of things that I left out of my original post (I'd forgotten them, it was a good party) were that Russ Green couldn't stand Wilson and that as soon as Chris Turner was appointed he told the people in the Promotions department to get on the phone and arrange some Q&A sessions in clubs and pubs straight away.

well it's nice to see the club are interested in building bridges with the fans, lets hope it's the start of a beautiful relationship

Danny Wilson had been uncovered as the Boston Strangler, a fact that KH believed would show the club in a bad light.

A Leeds supporting acquaintance of mine said the following last night:

"I can't believe Pools have sacked Danny Wilson. For me Pools were the best side we've seen this season and the game could have gone either way until the last ten minutes."

*Shrug*

Mention the corner flag and the clubs intentions? This is a fact.
