I'm convinced its illegal for the FA to fine managers for voicing an opinion and I'm frankly amazed that there has never been a legal challenge.

I've always though the same about clubs fining players a week or two's wages. Or when they are fined do they still get the national minimum wage and lose the rest......

Imagine going to work and disagreeing with the boss and getting find a weeks wages ......

I remember once when a newby foreman at a former company of mine had to dish out disciplinary measures to a couple of blokes on his shift. So what did he do?

He suspended them for a week on full pay.

I can tell you the whole factory, nay, the whole of Yakkerland was rolling on its arse laughing at that one.
Not the management though!

Jonny, I think the minimum salary is based on an average, so losing a couple of week's wages wouldn't dip it below the limit.
