That’s some attendance for a tier 6 game.

There’s no artificial fans at Darlo, they are all real and the fans have stuck by through the awful lean spell to be rewarded yesterday with a good win, with three brilliantly taken goals.

Obviously the attendance stated above has an extra digit on but 1700 plus is a good crowd, especially considering the weather.

to be fair to them there attendances are still above the average and 9th in that league. given the season they are having and the ground it aint that bad and those above them in gates have better grounds to watch football in. to sum darlo us they,ll never do anything until they get a ground the size of the vic and call it the new feethams.

Wonder how many Spennymoor fans were at the game?, noticed another ex-Mag kid got a hat trick for them in the game, Dylan Robinson. I say kid he's 24 in December.

That's 3 straight losses for Spennymoor since Peter Hartley took over as manager. Things seem to have fallen apart for them since they parted company with Spike Lee earlier this year.

Ah for the good old days, but I never built my season like those who were thought the only thing that mattered was beating Darlo home and away…it was a just a pleasant distraction from the other games.

Good division 4 fixtures which now looks like gone forever.
On the day the atmospheres and hatred was exceptionally brilliant.
Miss these fixtures big style.

It’s funny. The Spennymoor fans and others try to big up the Darlo game as some big derby but most Darlo fans don’t see it that way. Up until recently the S’moor vibe was a bit pumped up but they seem a bit meek these days.

Absolutely nothing like the old Pools/Darlo clashes.

it will only take off the day the last darlo fan dies who remembers there derby games with us. like us a lot do not want to see them at the level they are at but its the only option.
