Listen, I’m sure the more affluent among us are delighted about the jacking of the pint prices and fried chicken, but what’s going on with the regular offerings? Went down to get a pie around the 25 minute mark and the only offering was a chicken curry pie.

Firstly, I don’t know anyone who enjoys chicken curry in a puff pastry - it should be mince or steak exclusively. Secondly, how do you have such a lack of options midway through the first half. Ended up slinking back to the stands empty handed. Better preparation needed fellas!!

More interested in the pies than supporting the team 25 minutes in! Hopefully next time she throws a hot piping one in your face and sends you back round to support the lads. Disgraceful

They work hard in them food kiosks, one of the lasses said to me she works 100 hours a week. Fair play to her, a true work horse. I reckon a chicken curry pie sounds pretty nice to be fair, but they should be better stocked! If 100-200 people come down and want a pie, £4 quid a pop thats a good few hundred quid! Cant complain about not having any more funds if you can't feed the poolie faithful not even before half-time!

That fried chicken place on mill house is terribly placed too. no one wants to pay £12 quid for chicken and chips at Pools! Give me a greasy burger, or a pukka pie.

get something to eat before you go to the game. if you have to drive to get here like me then buy something outside the ground as well as any drink you want. if you cannot go a certain length of time whilst the match is on without eating you have a problem. its not as if they are giving food away as football food is far more expensive and of varying quality as you get outside the gates. my first £1 pint was purchased at a football ground.

Kev, if you go at half time you’re missing at least the first 5-10 minutes of the second half. Going midway through the first half is the lesser of two evils I’m afraid.

Was half meant as a joke Mr. Stanley! I did in fact go the length of a football game without having something to eat, would’ve just preferred greater variety on offer than what was available!

cheers. you might be half joking but its a topic for some who will be fully serious. once all was available was a drink and a chocolate bar which over the years has turned into clubs becoming expensive cafes because of demand. next thing will be tv chefs getting a job at man united and chelsea.
