Seen some bad ones in this league but he was by far the worst I've ever seen.

Diabolical refereeing.

But even worse miss from Harris in 93rd minute.
Just maybe we overeated.

It's happened before

Just when you think you have seen it all with referees at this level along comes another one to take mediocraty to another level.

He wasn't good enough to reach mediocrity.
Not saying it's his fault we lost, but the 2nd yellow wasn't a foul and it was right in front of the lino who appeared to say feck all to him (he didn't flag for a foul). The ref and same lino missed a clear handball in the box with the defenders hand way above his head. The same lino again, and the ref both missed a blatant pull back on Nolan when we had a 3 on 2 break.
Generally, it looks like every official has been told to allow shirt pulling all over the pitch.

Correction it was Nolan.

If Clarky keeps turning a blind eye to our midfield he will be sacked yet again.

He looked like an overweight bank clerk who’d won a competition to referee a football match and whose only interest in sport was wheelchair croquet ….

sick of hearing the excuse for these blokes that its a hard job that very few want to do. well you suits and experts from someone who did 22 seasons at the job its a piece of piss with two lino,s and its only hard when you make it hard for yourself like he did. only time its hard is when you are on your own with no lino,s and are expected to get the off sides correct. then if clarkie dare say what he is thinking he,ll have a big finecoming his way. just hope he does as i,ll put something in a fund me page to pay that fine.

The lino on the MH side was equally poor. He didn't flag for a foul when Ecclestone got his 2nd yellow and should have told the ref he'd got it wrong. He also missed the clear pull back on Nolan and the obvious handball.
Don't know if they're too weak willed to do their jobs, instructed by refs to stick to throws and offsides, or just shit at their jobs. He also missed the fact that almost every throw in throughout the match was a foul throw.
We however need to find a way to beat poor opposition regardless of how poor the officials are.

assistants are just that and follow the match instructions of the referee that vary. one wants you to ref your quarter of the pitch whilst next week its ball out of play and off sides only that they want. get someone like that in the middle and you are in for a long day with fans as they think its you who is incompetant. its hard to criticise them too much as nobody but the 4 officials there know the score and that includes both managers. go against the refs wishes and you,ll not be long on that leagues list of assistants unless you can give a very good reason.

The same crap officials cover league matches every week for the other 23 clubs so it's the same for everyone. It's our team that is the problem!

As with Reid last season, we turn a proven goal scorer, Harris, into a passenger. Moaning about one failed golden opportunity by Nolan misses the fact that at NL level it takes two or three golden opportunities to produce a goal. Eastleigh missed one in the first half. The simple fact is we do not create enough chances as everyone on this board knows.

We’ve seen no real improvement in the players over the past seasons in midfield …running and running is all very nice, but the ability to supply the balls we need is as far away as ever.
Rigby tactics in football matches don’t work.

first two games we took some of the few chances we created. last two games not so apart from one at sutton. you are right about players needing chances to score. manny d was the perfect example of scoring one and missing 3. its last season repeated unless there is a change in tactics or another new face in. it seems years since a pools side camped out in the opposition half instead of looking good on the break.
