York are owned by mother and son duo Julie-Anne and Matt Uggla. Matt's dad made a fortune in finance and is a big donor for organisations like the Tate Gallery and the British Film Institute. They're originally from Canada but based in the England.

Sounds like the Uggla family can not accept it when an employee gets the praise for a job well done. Similar to Raj when he refused to go on the parade as he was not being acknowledged tor promotion. Which in turn led to DC leaving the club.

there might be something there about only him wants to be in the limelight. didn,t he have bother at his previous club. york fans will turn on him quickly if maynards replacement is a failure and they struggle next season. actions like that make you hope it does.

They might get anutha promotion and it's the correct decision.

maynard really could not have done much more last season. over 100 points and promoted automatically. just cannot see what lindsey will do that he could not. if this was pools next season i doubt we would be happy with the situation.

If the supporters want to show their angst the should chant Maynard's name and Lindsay out showing their disapproval at his choice. Feel they at least should be told what caused such a bizarre decision. UGGLAS OUT.

yet again an owner who is ignoring fans and will moan if they shout maynards name if they are getting beat. even raj never sacked anybody without losing a few games. these gobby celeb type of owner needs to know they are just owning a club for a short period of time and fans have seen many come and go in there time supporting the club and really could not care a toss about any of them good or bad once they have gone down the road.
