Didn't I mention that the Farage election has been manufactured?
Farage's will be a similar cost to the manufactured Makerfield one, but the Manchester Mayoral one will be costing us the taxpayers around £5m.
It's fair to say that a number of Reform councillors have decided that for whatever reason they don't want to continue, at least they're stepping down and not keeping their noses in the trough, unlike many MP eh? It's a shame many of the unprepared, inept, incompetent lot in government aren't following their lead.

If they don’t want to continue why stand, were they on an ego trip ? Others were suspended, sacked or changed party.
Comprehensive list about resignations etc.

Waiting for the outcome of an investigation to complete hasn't stopped you constantly bleating on about Reform donations though has it?

Nope you got it in one, the more Farage denies the allegations the more the MSM are going to investigate him, vote Binface.

Well the good people of Clacton can't vote Labour or Tory can they?
The "big party's" are going to end up with egg on their faces if the Parliamentary Commission don't suspend Farage for more than 10 days.

That buffoon Starmer decking No.10 out in England flags (usually offensive according to him) just shows what a out of touch hypocrite he really is.

Have you seen what's been dug up about Burnham and his crew on contracts and expenses,Jamie?..the witch hunt aimed at Farage has brought a lot of more to light thankfully, you'll hear a lot more im sure when he takes top spot,it's all about timing. ;)

Nothing in the MSM about it, they are too busy looking into Reform and Farage, have they dug anything up on Count Binface yet, I am sure they will, vote Binface.

If they don’t Farage has just wasted £250000 of taxpayers money on an election.

Versus a similar amount wasted by Labour on the Makerfield election plus about £5m on the Manchester Mayoral election eh?

What about the debt Burnham has left Manchester in Jamie, the figures are staggering and now he has rachel as his new book keeper. Is this not cause for concern looking ahead?

That doesn’t register with Jamie, it’s an embarassing’ ‘inconvenience’ he brushes under the carpet.

I see on the news Portsmouth Council are taking down England Flags outside homes…and on the run up to the big match.
Who are the creatures who sanction this?
Demented.

we all know who they are and they are not reform or conservative councillors. the left would have made the 17th century puritans look a happy clappy lot. think this flag business has got all ott its time to just ignore and turn a blind eye till this world cup is over.

As long as the flag is not causing a hazard and regardless of motive, how can it be wrong to fly the English flag anywhere in England?
They wouldn't be tearing down EU flags or Rainbow Pride flags. What the feck is wrong with these people?

I suspect their idea of a good night out is being in their’ gang hut’ for the night printing one syllable leaflets and political slogans that simpletons can almost grasp.

They removed a single flag that was draped over a balcony at a block of flats, saying that it contravened fire regulations and presented a fire hazard.

There is nothing wrong with flying any flag as long as it’s done legally. There will be hundreds of England flags flying all over Portsmouth, one has been removed.

Completely fake and manufactured outrage again to try and cause division.

Don't think it's fake outrage at all, it may be manufactured in the way the original story is presented but at the end of the day how many protests have we seen where flags are flown or draped from public buildings or structures such as motorway bridges yet none are deemed a hazard and require removing. The story remains that English Councils are taking down English flags, the story isn't the outrage arising, leave the flags and the story doesn't exist.

Hopefully the major of Portsmouth is behind flying the English flag.

do not want to see pride, eu or foreign flags flying from proper places like flagpoles but feel a lot of others want to see a union or a st.georges one flown instead or onthere own. what many do not want to witness is the tacky look of a flag thats seen better days hung low on a lampost or a balcony. the yanks have always been a nation of flagwavers but they know how to wave them. we are just learning but have a long way to go if you want to see them waving properly.

1 council has been reported as taking down 1 flag on 1 building where it is deemed a fire risk. Because if it caused a fire, then the council would be liable for the cost/loss of life that resulted, as they are responsible for maintaining the communal area.

Some other flags are being prevented from being put up on council infrastructure like street lamps, as they could cause damage, or the people putting them up could get injured and then sue the council.

What is on the flag is irrelevant.

Councils have already said countrywide that they are more than happy for the St. Georges cross to be displayed however and wherever people want on their own land and property as long as it doesn’t breach planning or safety regulations. There are plenty of different ways to do that.

Many councils have had English flags taken down over the last few months.
I know of one council that removed the flags from lampposts just recently saying they were a safety concern only for the council to string up bunting for the town carnival from the very same lanposts, and the same lanposts they string the Xmas lights from too - so it would appear the hazard must solely come from the flags being English?

Or the council have employed someone to spend 3 months filling in a 27 page Health and Safety assessment to confirm that the bunting is safe, and brought in a professional with all of the correct safety gear to put it up. Not some guy on a old rickety ladder.

or a case of knowing two are only temporary but the flags were meant to be permanent. did any council actually take them down within hours of them going up. i do not think so. some looked far better than others as well and the ones in the village near me were just an eyesore especially after being battered by the winds off the moor those who put them up should have been good enough to remove them then and might have got more respect if they had done so. lets say its sheep again where one area foes it and others feel they must follow.

Most Councils have the inertia of a hippo knitting…as for risk assessments, done em….as the man said, ‘rules are for the strict obedience of fools and the guidance of wise men’. ;)

Tell the truth…I watched the film ‘Reach for the Sky’ with Kenneth More and he played the part of Douglas Bader and he actually said it in real life to his Commanding Officer who was giving him a bollocking for his dare devil flying and quoting the rules.
It stuck in my mind.
