I'm worried Messi will tear our ponderous defence a new arsehole. Madueke please don't play him, Saka is a busted flush, he cudnt cross the road never mind a ball.

It was another tough watch. We definitely had the rub of the green in that one.

Going to a 5 man defence to protect a lead when it was 11 v 11 was a bit shan - is Tommy Tuchel Nicky Featherstone in disguise?

What was the issue with sending off in the Argentina v Norway game, I thought VAR wasn’t going to be used for incidents like this ?

I must admit, I am mystified as to why Madueke gets a game, he is absolutely shocking. I can only assume that it is because Saka isnt fit enough to play 90 minutes so Madueke is picked for 45 minutes in the hope he might come good. On form he can be a highly effective winger but he is really badly off form. On a slightly different topic, who was the midfielder who who tearing around the middle of the pitch during extra time doing his best to stop Norway attacking. The commentators didnt mention him but I thought he was phenominal. Was ite Eze? Maybe Spence? He was definitely one of the subs which is why he had the energy. As so many people have said: if we play like we did against Norway, against the Argies, we will be on the plane home.

It was Spence. Best he's played for England.
