Wife came down this morning ans asked how England got on …had the usual keep a straight face routine and told her we got beat 2-0.
Then told her the true score…she asked who scored, asking if it was ‘Harry’….I said no, try again ..you could see the light coming on as she pronounced …’ Jed Billingham’ I hadn’t the heart to correct her.
