The club stated ‘ recognised that this is the right moment to move in a different direction’ , have they got a new manager lined up then ?

I'd bet Challinor has his next job lined up rather than Stockport have a new manager lined up. Surprised he stayed there so long tbh.

While an excellent manager I feel that League one is about his best level.

It might be a bit of a challenge for him managing players with big egos and on loadsa money.
He's definitely earned a shot at a bigger club though. Good luck to him.

if he,d been born away from the uk with a name thats difficult to pronounce then he,d have been gone a few years back with the success he had with us and then them.

Where does that leave Sweeney he was the first team coach alongside Challinor ?

I would imagine both Sweens and Clint Hill, along with the rest of the backroom staff will follow him to Blackburn - should that be where he ends up.

Blackburn..? We stay at lodges sometimes next to their rather smart training ground at Old Langho, I’ll give him a wave if I see him.

one thing is i would not be putting my house up for sale if i was going to be employed by blackburn rovers. are that venky lot still there.
