that should be the minumum given from the club. then they spoil it by having a higher price for those waiting to see who the new manager is and the type of player brought in. giving all the unknowns it would have been a good idea for the early bird being the only price charged. if we get things right on the pitch they,ll sell em but some could be priced out.

Is it going to be a case of spin and recruitment driving ST sales, or ST sales driving recruitment?
I won't be buying till I see signs that give me a feeling that we're going to be competitive.

Thing about season tickets, is that here’s those who will buy a ticket, regardless…and those who’ll sit on their decision but eventually get round to it even if prices do go up…..but a reasonable increase would never have put me off, especially in the times we live in….but if the ‘goods’ on offer are worth the it, on and off the pitch and the prospects look god good, they ‘ll sell.

some actually buy one and you hardly see em at games. there choice and not because of illness. suppose its like giving to charity for them.

Anybody heard what the latest sales figure is.

That end of May deadline needs extending.
Unless they think they can get a shit load of £23.50s entering the Vic to see this new Dream Team.

Agree, can't see the attraction of a cheaper ST when we don't have any idea of who the director or cast of the show will be.

how many were sold at this time last year. far less than that i,m sure. it does go to show how much faith some have when they have nothing really concrete to base it on.

I think generally people are hoping that this is the start of a good era for the club and us, the supporters, and are responding accordingly. Completely understandable and I sincerely hope that this demonstration of faith is rewarded.

Surely we cannot just live off the fact that raj singh is no longer at the club. i love pools and still like the game to some extent but feel i am less likely to lose my head over decisions based on hope only.

at least that would be a move by the club and a positive one for the fans. at least its something you can get your teeth into to applaud and not just faith in the unknown.

A lot of folk said they wouldn't continue supporting the Raj regime, so there's a lot that are returning now he has left the club. It all begins in earnest in August under Landon Smith. From thereon he will start to be judged properly, but let's not forget, the bloke has stepped in when there felt like there was no hope. The end of the Singh era was dreadful, blind faith or not, Landon has been the first of a string of potential buyers who has managed to get the thing done.

One thing Lee Clark did say was that he thought the budget was decent & better than some in League 2. Normally Pools gaffers say something along the lines of... 'I'm happy with it - but it's how you spend it, not how much you have'.

The reality is - those who spend the most tend to do the best. First time I've heard a Pools gaffer say confidently that we will be in top category in the division.

One thing for sure this 26/27 ST Holders have to get a better return than the half season ticket holders from last season.
They were absolutely mugged big style.

The new squad needs to improve in quality n fitness.
That can save money on Quantity.

It's the 1st full season under new Ownership so basically a clean slate like Clarky said for everyone connected to Pools.

Excellent numbers so far but thats just savvy shopping.
You don't pay £23.50 for something that costs £14 if you pay upfront.

Anyhow I'm confident we Gunna be ok and will be returning to the Vic in August after a 3.5 years boycott.
Maybe even get an ST when I retire.

Our kid renewed his ST yesterday.
Said it's a bargain but Deffo wudent go to any games on the pay on the day system.

Extensions are now a thing of the past.

A 4000 crowd with only 2000 STs generates more income than day 3000 STs.

With some decent recruitment we can maybe sustain that figure which is good for the club.

All down to the Ambition levels.
Maybe shift an Xtra 300 at Xmas if we inside the top 7.

An FA Cup run could create a budget to cover further recruitment if needed.

know the club gets the money upfront and early well before the season starts from season ticket holders. some do not attend every game either and even taking that into consideration the club must make more in gate money if nobody bought one and paid on a match to match basis.

I think there will be a few more buying them after Jack Nolan has signed!

Feel we now need to get the away end sorted out if they are bringing less than 100 the club could have a gap between supporters properly stewarded and if we are doing well sell the extra seats to home fans as is done at Southend in recent years. They are the best supported club in the division due to innovations such as this.

good idea if we were filling up the rest of the ground easily. apart from the odd game like carlisle we could have the whole of the rink end and the two figure away crowd could be more easily put in the side of the cyril knowles. does seem a waste of an end especially for those who like an end on view but sitting down to do it.
