What about all the boats the illegals come in on, surely they can be used as well!

Absolute embarrassment, wonder when the Argies will take note and take over the Falklands? There's not a cat in hells chance we could stop them now, ah feck it Starmer's probably on the phone now telling them they can have them and a few billion quid on top of they'll take them off our hands.

The Argies won’t have to worry, Starmer will probably give it to them and compensation for the inconvenience we put them through when we stopped them taking over last time.

See that all-American blowhard Pete Hesgeth has been bragging that an American submarine has sunk an Iranian frigate - 'the first time a submarine has sunk a warship since World War 2.'

Not quite sonny - HMS Conquerer sank an Argentinian CRUISER (the General Belgrano) in 1982.

Good info that. The Americans have a habit of re-writing history. Hollywood even inserted them in to the Bletchley Park story.

Why wouldn't he?, he's the goon who's running (supposedly) this shit show of a government, he's a HRL whose secretly a left wing pacifist, the type of person who a dictator would run rings around, pandering to every order, god help us if he'd been PM during WW2, the Germans would have strolled in unopposed.

If a group of Brits decided to invade Lindisfarne and try and take the place over he'd come down on them hard and fast with full force as they would be "indigenous" whereas if a group of foreigners did the same he'd likely let it drag on for a couple of years while the process went through the proper law proceedings according to the EU. The blokes a massive cock-end and extremely dangerous.

Preference to run the country?, nobody from Labour impresses me not one of them, probably Rupert Lowe, Richard Tice or Nigel Farage at the very least who would put the interests of the people and welfare of this country before those who just want to make the country weaker, wasteful of public funds and a strain on every public service.
And please don't tell me what your feelings are on Farage as I'm already well aware.

Btw Jamie it is not my job to come up with an answer to the problems that currently afflict our country (not yours) there are people who are currently in power who are being well paid to supposedly do so, although they're making a total mess of it from what I can see.. I am though allowed (like everyone else on here and around the country) to criticise the shambolic efforts of the sitting government.

Surely anyone but Starmer is a legitimate answer, the bloke is the definition of a hand-wringing fence-sitter. Not what is required in more peaceful and steady global times let alone at the moment.

Of course it is a legitimate answer, that's why Jamie doesn't want to hear it.

Of course it’s not a legitimate answer, a name might be a good answer, a member of the current Labour Party, my answer is there isn’t one.

The answer ‘anyone’ shows the contempt the public hold the bloke…stiff as a poker, cardboard cutout. 6th form debater who can’t read the room , oblivious to his own ignominious persona…the Mr Chips of politics.

Interesting that the MP who's husband was arrested for spying for China has stood down from the Labour party, Starmer should have suspended her immediately pending the investigation and imo she should have been barred from Parliament pending the investigation. Starmer had nowt to say the bloke is absolutely indecisive to the pointy of danger given his position.

Why would I want to suggest someone from the current Labour party to replace woodentop, I want Labour out of government, they're not fit to govern, in fact they're a disgrace in iny opinion.

she possibly beat him to it and made it harder for him to take actions. she then could be totally innocent as i doubt plenty of us do not know what the other half is up to. might start to worry if her in the kitchen brings chinese food back from her shopping.

Defence Secretary today saying there was no urgency to get warships out to protect Akrotiki because there's plenty of allied (US) ships in the area to do the job, but we refused them permission to use the airbase that we want them to defend!

The woman who's deputy leader, or Jess Phillips will be among the front-runners after the May elections imo. Wether they'd be any better is anyone's guess but they'd struggle to do worse than Starmer.

I would replace the current front bench with Daleks from the BBC props department as they'd be just as good, but seriously why are you again asking that question when I've already answered it?, or can't you be bothered to read the previous posts properly?

Monster Raving Loony party would be less of a disaster than this lot.
The list of shame so far:
Freeloaders
Tax dodgers
Fraudsters
Paedo associates
Thugs
Rogue landlords
Spouse of alleged Chinese spy

None of this current government seem to be trustworthy, even less so than Boris's mob and that was probably a record low.
When a party as fruit loop as the Greens are doing so well in the polls it tells everyone with an open mind how bad the incumbent government is.

Thought the clue would be in my suggestions(names), certainly not the Lib-Dems, Greens or Labour/Tories that's for sure. If you can link the names to the parties the clue is there, it's not difficult.

If you give Jamie the answer, he just ignores it if it proves him wrong.
If you ask Jamie a question, he can’t answer he just ignores it and pretends it was never asked.

Therefore the previous government of 14 years were whiter than white, no idea what polls you are looking at, Labour are the bookies favourites to win the next election.

Do you actually read the entirety of what others post? I say that Boris's lot take some beating for sleaze so obviously not whiter than white.
Every poll indicates that there will be no overall majority of an election was called today. As I said earlier when the likes of the Greens are doing so well the main parties are struggling for sure.

I read what you write, I was quoting what the bookies betting odds were, the Greens are doing well but that was a by election where there was a large population of Muslims who are going not to vote for Reform. They knew Labour wouldn’t win so switched to tactical voting to keep Reform out. Come a general election when all the Green policies are revealed it will be a different story and MSM will go to town on them.

Oddschecker has Reform as 2/1 favourites to win most seats, odds on no overall majority.
No doubt you'll find some skewed pundit telling you that Labour are indeed favourites but Oddschecker takes bookies not pundits actual odds as it's data.
The Greens winning in Gorton, a 100 year plus Labour seat one of their safest in the country wasn't a typical mid term by election protest, it sends a message to all the main parties that they need to get their acts together.
You'd better start thinking of reasons why Labour are going to get absolutely anhiallated in May don't you think?

labours best chance is for there supporters to do something new and all go out and vote for them in may. remember with very low turnouts its not difficult to get the number of votes needed in council elections.

Labour had a huge majority at the GE which was massively overturned in the By Election with the turn out for both being almost identical in numbers. The seat was Labours to lose and their traditional supporters turned against them.

  You are sooo out of touch with UK events…..if you believe Labour will win the next election, it’ll be because they’ve been hypnotising the public……..but the biggest joke of all is who will lead this shower which appears to consist of Rick Mayall’s character in ‘The Young Ones’ and the lightweight cast of Militant Dinner ladies’…they have the depth of a car park puddle between them.

I am more upto date with U.K. events than you, I read up everyday when you are still asleep, we do have the internet in fact a more superior and faster system than the U.K. it will be 3 years until the next G.E., no party with an overall majority is going call one before then, so dream on.

Reading about the cost of living crisis, the increasing growth of no go areas in towns and cities, general disappointment with Starmer and his motley crew is far far distant to living it. Ultra fast broadband is no more accurate or informative than slow broadband, it's how your mind selects and processes your own truth.

I don’t actually believe you live in Thailand, Pie land probably.
As for you ‘reading up’ on UK events…er, we actually experience it ….. so stop talking tosh.
You’ll read just what you want to read, ….and onlythe stuff you like, which in reality is being misinformed.
