sutton have improved under a new manager. pools have hit a new low. all points to a 2 nil win for us using up all our seasons good luck.

Depends what the Pools starting 11 is. If we've got two proper centre-halves back (Kouogun and John) and Walker and Johnson aren't on the pitch we might make a game of it.

Maybe this is contraversial but having watched the Gainsbro game the players just didn't seem to be interested. One can only speculate something went on around the sacking of Grayson. It was totally out of the blue. I have no proof, just a hunch. Hope I am wrong and the lads win away.

The last 2 interviews i listened from SG he mentioned Mr Mc has been his friend for some time and they good success together.

The full backs could both do a lot more too. Topallaj was skinning Gateshead's right back for fun a month ago. Now he goes for the easy pass every time. And Benn reminds me more and more of David Ferguson. Let's his winger run at him and can't seem to get a foot in.

The "assist" for the second Sutton goal from our midfield was awful - but not out of the ordinary based on the shite we've grown used to over the past three years.

True although in the early part of the season we looked solid which is why the fecking wheels falling off is hard to take. I find refuge in cynicism.

That was ridiculous. Oliver and their goalie going for a 50/50 ball on the edge of the area and somehow it went way up in the air and came down and bounced into their goal.

Edon Prutti is one of Suttons best players. What does that say about recruitment/development at Pools over the past few seasons?

To be fair, that was an entertaining game and no lack of effort from Pools. Overall a fair result.

I think it was a fair result and we played better than I expected. Could have held on but their corner for the equaliser was a peach.
We are still in the top ten, amazingly.

Keeper can't got off his line for the Sutton equaliser. We're really missing Cartwright and McNally but at least John is back. Him and Francis were very good.

Typical Pools, get you excited and then let themselves and us down.
We appear to attack out of desperation rather than attack to win the game from the outset.
Not losing to a team that had only won one game was hardly a great performance so we must reserve judgement as to how the season is going.

I am not reserving judgement. My judgement is that there is a massive gulf between Pools and the likes of York, Carlisle, Forest Green, Rochdale, Boreham Wood and Southend. So even if we did somehow sneak into the play offs we wouldn't last long. Unless some quality is signed, we are destined for a mid table finish at best and even that is debatable.

Ah well a week off from pools now, Unless pools being pools they manage fuck something up this week.
Oh and by the way to the coaching staff, Don,t make a substitution while defending a corner, Numb nuts!

I agree. A flukey place in the play offs would just be the big build up to nothing - again!
The season is already over and we’re only in October.
