It’s looking likely with HMRC having submitted a winding up petition for over a million wuid and the owner refusing to budge.

Not my favourite club or set of supporters, but wouldn't wish this upon them.

I know quite a few Wendies and this will hit them hard. Some of them are well heeled and I'm fairly confident the money will be raised. On the other hand the owner is held in the same esteem as ours so that might be a sticking point. Be interesting to see how it pans out.

I drove past Hillsborough a month or two ago, it makes Pools look well maintained. Almost looks like an abandoned ground.

know what you mean but over the years i have become hardened to the problems of other clubs and fans to the point where i cannot give a toss anymore. we have too many problems closer to home and doubt any of them are interested in our plight.
