Honestly - Simon Grayson is well off out of this mess. And Featherstone managed this match about as well as the bloke selling homeless newspapers outside of the supermarket would have done.

I get worried when things get this apathetic amongst the fans.

I watched the first 60 mins on you tube this morning and to be honest the game was an enigma. We played nice football , played from the back , much quicker than them on the ball and played some neat stuff. I also thought our midfield was ok because they allowed us to play. However, no matter what we did we couldn’t score . I personally didn’t think that we were flat . Watch it again . Didn’t watch the last 30 mins . But like a lot of teams recently Gainsborough just soaked up the
pressure and scored 3 goals from 3 chances against the run of play . And there guys is the crux of the problem as we all know . No confidence in the box . Charman worked his socks off. But if your strikers have no end product your team is doomed . We all know this beautiful game is about scoring goals and having a cutting edge . It’s the same in every match . The games finish at 5 but we could be there till 12.00 and never score.

Anybody who thought Walker should have started as centre-back was missing the point - he can't run and won't tackle. Pools were piss easy to score against last night but it would have been even worse if he'd been at the back.

As for Johnson, he's had nearly 600 minutes on the pitch already this season, been clean through on goal at least a dozen times and never looked like scoring.

Neither of them should be anywhere near another Pools team sheet. Two absolute wastes of a shirt.

was made even worse as my screen froze and i missed out consolation goal. the fact is the score was a good reflection of the game and not a smash and grab giantkilling with the lesser team getting all the breaks. might have actually felt better if we had gone out on saturday 1 nil.

wonder how many poolies were in the ground at the final whistle. some were walking out when their 3rd went in.
