Another 2 non playing staff appointed, I might be wrong but were they not involved in a take over bid from Singh ?

Location: Rocks or Colliery?
Sound like two local guys who've done very well for themselves, let's hope we can all benefit from their experience.

sounds as if they are just fans with some business experiance who are helping the club rather than a couple draining the club of what money it has.

Fans with business experience and local knowledge who should have been brought in instead of Bromby, we don’t hear much from them now ?

They’re both big Pools fans, with Orange Box sponsoring Pools a few years back.
Both have built their businesses up from scratch.
Both good appointments in my book.

It looks good on the face of it but are they a paid part of the club or simply helping out as lifelong fans. I am sure they both have expertise within the commercial sense and have a lot to offer so why not if it means the club progresses in the right direction.
Expanding it a little, they both have been involved in successful businesses, virtually building them from scratch, so maybe they could be interested in getting involved financially and chucking a few bob in the tin. If Landon is embarking on a road of getting successful businessmen interested in helping in an advisory category with a view to investing then it is win win. I am not keen on committees but I have taken to that idea.
As well as that he is keeping us in the loop, thus fulfilling his commitment to keep the fans informed.
I have always believed that we need local born millionaires who are as fanatical as us involved, it looks like Landon is on that wavelength too.

Wasn't Simon Corbett part of a consortium that included Joe Grey's dad that was interested in taking over Pools from Raj Singh?

raj wanted people like them to get involved in the club but sensibly they stayed away. goes to show we are in a better place off the field at least.

Problem might be that people might not want their name associating with failure on the pitch. We are being asked to be patient as the commercial side is being built that will presumably provide the revenue to build success on the pitch. Meanwhile revenue is potentially lost due to the fans patience wearing thin, causing them to drift away. It's a fine line and we are in danger of falling into a catch 22 situation.
At the start of the season nearly six thousand turned up, demonstrating their belief in Landon's vision for the future of our club.
Two thousand have perhaps already lost their patience. Only one thing will drive the attendance back up and that is success on the pitch.
We are having to wait while other aspects of the operation are improved. The big question is for how long.

possibly we have between 2,500 and 3,000 who have the patience and will carry on coming. the problem could be when gates get lower than that it will get increasingly harder to get the stay aways back. its one wasted season after another with promises of better times ahead but when. some of us have not got forever to wait for them and others are just sick of waiting.
