I detest that club for what they are, a conjured up from fresh air hobby club who’d go the same way as Rushden and Diamond’s if their sugar daddy walked away.

I love a bloody steak, black pudding a bacon sarnie but is it really a big deal that a football ground is knocking out vegan pies? it's just food, I've been to vegan restaurants and the food has been fantastic.

It's the fact that most food places that predominantly serve meat dishes generally have vegan alternatives available as an option. Vegan places rarely if even offer an option for meat eaters apart from take it or leave it.

there will be vegans also who have eaten non vegan food and have liked it in a previous life. just another fad that everyone seems they need to cater for.and eventually another new one will come about to take its place. eat what you like but many do not want to and they should be catered for in the same way. just why do meat eaters just get on with there lives but vegans cannot stop talking about it and feel its there god given right to be catered for. add cyclists to the list and possibly they are the same people as them.

 Zero sense of humour and right out of order.

I'd like to think Pools are working on a loan signing for a centre-back before the FGR game. Otherwise we're likely looking at Hunter doing another turn as a stand in at the back.

I wish Pete Wild and the team all the best in this weeks televised match. Its the ideal opportunity for the team to come out of their shell and really show what they can do. In this Pete Wilds first real test after a week in training . I am looking for a vast inprovement in key areas like passing , crossing , set pieces and more quality in the final third. I expect nothing but 100% committment and effort regards doing the basic things well. You guys now have a decent manager who is pragmatic and has exceptional man manager and communication skills . Do it for your boss, do it for the fans and show the national tv audience whom we are . Everyone has the ability to step up. Just do it and put on a show

I presume it is on DAZN. They have the rights to all NL matches. If I am wrong someone will be along to clarify.

FGR are one of the better sides in the NL and as we know Pools tend not to do well following a long journey. On the other hand we havea decent mannager who will have got them organised. I suspect we will give FGR a good game but will end up losing 1-0.

its usually a close game down there and i,m sure we have had a draw and a defeat by that score. we have a new manager and they have just lost there one which might or not be relevant.

It’s never that straightforward.

Haven’t FGR relaid their pitch to a more natural type grass, I always thought the old one gave them an advantage over the opposition.

Harris on the bench and no Cameron John, is he injured? I know Benn is. Interesting selection.

So is Earing playing in defence?, IIunga and Ecclestone full backs?, no Miley in the squad?

Miley (foot) John (hamstring) both crocked.

Hugill and Popov upfront... maybe the plan is to lull FGR into a false sense of security?

I reckon a few of those starting today are in the last chance saloon with the new Manager.

Pools look much more organised.
Also FGR can stick their Palestine banners up their arse.

Do you think we are good value for our lead, Mr H? Why was the pen awarded? Trying to follow the game on Official X but the bloke only gives tiny bits of description.

Good half. We don’t look like we’ll score many but the Wildman has at least got us looking like a cohesive, organised unit. Concerned that if they score we won’t be able to get another though, so need a big shift from the lads at the back.

Credit to Pete Wild. Pools were organised and competitive all half though not showing a lot of quality. Looked a 50:50 game coming up to half-time till Hugill won a soft penalty and put it away.

Looked like a cut and dry pen to me, their defender caught Hugill on the leg and brought him down. At least in modern terms. Either way I’ll take it.

Forest green very quick and playing the ball on the floor . We seem more organised, physical , deffo penalty . Is there any improvement ? Still a bit rushed in the final third . We have created chances . Do we deserve to be infront. Maybe . TBA i dont care .camera angles making my eyes hurt on dazn . Our goaly solid.

Nothing special going forward but at this point we just need to grind out some points. Can try and improve the quality going forward later, just steady things. UP THE POOLS!
