Beginning to sound like a broken record, Lee. I like to think BBC tees used this unflattering picture of him as revenge for being so unbelievably unlikeable and rude to the reporters who just ask simple questions.

but we have been here before in similar circumstances and what really did change apart from the appointment of challinor. everything else is change one piece of crap for another where some were not given time but deserved to. know he has a weakened side out with injury and has never once had a full squad to pick from. would that have made any difference i wonder for the geordie darren sarll.

He seemed to blame the sending off for the defeat but Hunter was sent off with around 15 minutes to go so why were we shite for the first half hour in the second half? We had just equalized at the end of the first half so why didnt we try to kick on in the second half? Were Alty too good for us? Anyway, Hunter sent off with 15 to go is not the reason for the loss in my opinion.

‘Working brilliantly’ usually gets thrown about when they’ve actually won…we haven’t.

I said on another post I didn’t think we played too badly in the first half in comparison to recent weeks, but we certainly looked vulnerable. As above even before the red card we looked turgid in the second half and didn’t do a single thing of note. So I’m not sure what Clark is on about as far as the system working. Bloke just talks utter rubbish and seemingly can’t answer basic questions. Maybe a future outside of the pitch but in the boardroom or even in Parliament awaits for Lee.

First half we did create some good opportunities mainly through Ilunga and even after the 1st goal I thought we could turn it around. But the 2nd half was back to the dire hoofball he seems to prefer. Nolan was awful pretty much all match so I'm not sure how he can say he excited anyone.

Nolan was that effective he might as well been playing for them. I am very disappointed in Nolan. I had the impression he would be taking players on and producing goals from situations of his own making. I must have dreamt that because he just goes down blind alleys until he's dispossessed.
In fairness I think the players we have would be more effective if they had a manager who could create a formation and system that played to their strengths. Clark doesn't seem to be able to come up with that.
Tom Crawford just kept it simple, nothing spectacular but effective. Him and their number 8 controlled the midfield, although Miley had his best game this season for me.

Inspiring words…….there was definitely words, but ‘inspiring’ is the sticking point, …it was the tone of voice the garage makes when they try to explain your car fell off the ramp onto it’s roof ….but it shouldn’t be a problem.

but how much work had their keeper to do and did we actually miss big chances where we could have done better. we did look a bit sharper but that was it until the second half where we were back to normal after his ht rallying call.

i expect both nolan and harris were seen as our main 2 signings followed by hugill who looks increasingly past it. the other pair have had really mixed careers before we signed them but many fans expected to see the best versions of them. question is why. we are pools with a sub standard manager, or whatever they call em now, who has had the sack from all the jobs he has had.

doubt he is skint by a long way. maybe a bit of buyers remorce is kicking in. nobody likes to see there money wasted which at the moment it looks to have been. than the gate tomorrow is going to be well over 2,000 fown from the first game and could be possibly half. promises will not get them back any day seeon and they need to see attractive positive football being played with a cup and trophy wins on top. no more gainsbotough or anstey nomads results will be acceptable.
