The best Media Manager Pools have ever had now available after leaving Spennymoor so come on Pools get him back. This is an area that is dragging us back. Get him in and allow him to transform the department and to keep us up to date as to what is going on at all areas of the club.

Fully agree, get him back, get very little communication coming from the club which is disappointing.

It's a no-brainer from me.

Howay Landon, get him back. It would be a universally popular move. He's good at his job and loves the club.

His Linkedin page says he is an Independent Travel Agent at Travel by Inspire. That's the reason he went part-time at Spennymoor, which it seems didn't suit them.

I guess what matters now is how much Simmo is enjoying his new career and what kind of living he is making.

But as a businessman Landon will know that every man has his price... and of course Simmo is a Poolie through and through

I suspect personal circumstances will prevail.

its the biggest gap now that the club has. its not a case of being nostalgic either but a total necessary appointment. everyone has there price and i,m sure he could do it along side his other job. even if its just for this season it would be better than the present situation.

I hope he returns…but personal details such as a job can get in the way…..in all these matters I suspect income will come first followed by conditions of service.most importantly does he figure in the clubs plans.

Makes sense. I hope they find a way to make it work. The world has gone absolutely mad since he was last here. Having him back would feel like some sort of equilibrium has been restored.

If Pools are looking to pay below the going rate for an experienced Media Manager (which is the only reason that I can think of that they are struggling to find someone), then taking someone on without much experience, and having Simmo there part-time in a mentorship role, training them up, would be a great shout.

Looking at the photos on FB it’s hard to believe it’s the same person, losing 12 stone in 12 months is certainly a great achievement, no wonder he has problems going through passport control.

anybody seen fatty steve evans lately. he must have been on a similar diet but actually looks ill.

It seems a bit daft to generate interest for the club in the sports fair in the US a few weeks ago and then not have a media bod who can keep people interested.

From the looks of a post on X, looks like the media assistant at Sunderland, Adam Tones has got the job.
