Apparently he’s been offered a ‘coaching position in the Cubs’ Academy’.

So history repeats itself and he couldn't get a better offer.
Could be a good opportunity for him to build on his coaching career and maybe have another stab at the 1st team job at some point in the future.

Well at least he's well away from the 1st team.
