Just watched this again and I feel for Fevs - he looks bereft of ideas and hope, and very much a beaten man. It's easy to criticise him but him being where he is isn't really all his fault. If we look at the managers that he has played for at Pools it shows the Raj effect at its worst, and that Fevs has had few decent 'teachers':

Hignett (several times)
Collins
Jones
Bates (several times)
Harrison
Money
Sweeney (several times)
Lord Challinor
Lee
Nelson/ Sweeney
Hartley
Curle
Askey
Lawrence (several times)
Limbrick

with teachers like those i,m surprised he actually knows the shape of the ball we play with. they were mostly to football what a blind surgeon is the to the NHS.

TBH Featherstone is an inexperienced manager and post match interviews for him won’t come easily albeit it’s the Pools rep. who is asking the questions so will go easy on him.

its just a box ticking exercise that all managers have to do. most of us i guess will watch them but learn very little from them. does anybody believe any of the answers most come out with and are more or less like eating the same bland meal day after day ot count the football new speak quotes they come out with.
