A game we should be favourites to win but often don't!
1-2 loss

If we didn’t care, we wouldn’t be here.

On reflection, a pointless exercise, because that would be putting the boot in from both sides….and most regulars would ignore it anyway, tried this in the early 70’s, we looked like tits.
We need alternatives, a lot more subtle than gestures, the only boycott that works is a permanent one and that’s fairyland stuff that can destroy itself….. but that would never happen anyway.
We all have theories about what’s wrong with the club, but the club appears to have adopted a stonewall exercise that makes for little progress on any front.
We’re wallowing at present going around in circles with nothing on the horizon, the fans are just bystanders of an unsophisticated farce being played out in plain sight.

they have 2 out of the 10 highest earners in the league in there squad. there results are more erratic than ours and for one i,m interested in the outcome. at least it will help me to decide whether to go to alifax next saturday.

Agree 100%. Desperate for Pools to win but not confident they will. I am predicting a 2-2 draw. Morcambe like to attack but are a bit open at the back so I think there will be goals.

In his pre-match interviews Feaths had a lot to say about Morecambe and reckons Pools have been working on tactics to get the better of them all week - so no excuses on Tuesday night!

i,d guess they have done exactly the same. i,ll give em some free advice now to help them. stop the attacking threat of jack hunter and you,ll stop pools.

Thought the West Ham fans got it spot on yesterday, got behind their team till the match finished then out came the rotest against the owner banners at the end.

You always wonder when the obvious question is not asked in pre-match interviews.

I believe I am right in saying our results against Morcambe over time have been good. All the more reason not to tempt fate.

With this squad and manager, from where is a 3 point win coming?
Does anyone care? Not the owner evidently.

a pre season friendly disguised as a league fixture. more annoying as a win would have seen us close to the play off positions

And doesn't that show what a poor league were in doesn't it? 2 shockingly bad teams last night but they looked like Barca compared to us.

How many balls were booted out of the ground?
At the last home game it was 4 but the record i have personally seen is 7.

Because the coaching system is shite, Its a lazy/easy option.
Saves these Badge holders having to think of something original.

just the present day fashion that will go quickly when a team gains success by playing another way.

Playing out from the back requires at least half a dozen accurate passes to get up the other half of the field. What are the odds of that happening with our current players? The alternative of booting it up to a lone striker is equally unlikely to yield anything positive hence goals are always going to be a rarity with our line-up.
I don't think I have ever felt so dispondent about our prospects than I do now. Avoiding relegation is the priority from now on.

this is at least the second season on the trot that fans were quite happy with the signings the club made but quickly became upset after a couple of injuries hit the side. i,m not having it that its only us who get injuries and things go much deeper than this at the club.

Avoiding relegation? Have a look at the table man. Pools are 3 points off a play-off place and 13 points above the relegation places!

What's really hacking people off is the prospect of another season of mid-table mediocrity. The top 6 in this divison look miles better than the rest. That said, if Pools had a goalscorer who could stay fit we wouldn't be too far away.

after watching southend and carlisle last night you,d think both were in a different division to us. be nice to get excited about our performances rather than just the odd few results that go our way which are no better than the games we have lost.
