Two hours solid driving the dogs to distraction, seems the knuckle draggers set em off for the merest reason.
Little things please little minds.

I see no reason why they are not banned for public sale. Its a celebration of a terrorist act aint it and their continued sale terrorises people and animals?
By all means have organised displays with low volumes of sound.

Fireworks are year round now, any celebration gives people the excuse to set them off, in all likelihood the people setting them off have never heard of Guy Fawkes.

In Malta where I worked years ago it all noise no colours, it appeared to be a competition who could set the loudest ones off, a few houses got destroyed by people making them and it wentup. 9 killed this year here, a village wiped out by a factory manufacturing fireworks, regular occurrence unfortunately.
There is an International Fireworks Festival here the back end of November, there was a U.K. team last year, once you seen one that’s it, just the same coloured lights.

it annoys me as so many people in parliament and councils have brought up this issue with support without any action ever taken. if we had a referendom on this issue i,m sure there would be a landside vote to ban em. there must be some lobby out there with influence that stops change happening as its a yearly issue that comes up. luckinly for me they annoy us more than the two dogs.

once you went to the vets for something that calmed them down. that was fine back in the day of november 5th and no more. it worked, but totally pointless now as fireworks can be a daily thing even in bloody summer with the sun still out. funny how you rarely hear of serious fires or incidents firework related now as if they want to supress anything bad about them.

if only. the bastards were out again last night about 9.30. a local bloke with 4 horses has had to stable them from last week and up to new year due to the problems he has had in the previous 2 years. just sick of hearing the talk about this but you never see any actions being taken apart from advice given to us and never them. can we involve the muslims to say they find them objectionable i wonder.

If it was actually a fireworks display no problem but it’s just to create a noise 9 times out of ten, again quoting here in Thailand New Year has loads of fire works festivals at midnight but you never see individuals setting fireworks off in the streets.

until the millenium celabrations you never saw or heard a firework away from london. Thats where a lot started like fireworks and admission fees for pubs and clubs you went to all the year round. yes you did get a stale sausage roll and a BR type sandwich for your money.
