The British royal family contributes an estimated £1.8 billion annually to the UK economy, which includes a significant impact on tourism, trade, media, and the arts. A 2022 study valued the monarchy's capital impact at £67.5 billion. While specific tourism figures are hard to isolate, royal-related tourism is a major part of the UK's history and heritage attraction, which draws a large portion of international visitors
BTW spoke out the royal family here and you will end up in jail,

britain is not number 1 top tourist spot in europe anyway. the profit made for the country from the royals has been an industry itself and has been debunked over the years. the houses and palaces will still exist and look at the cost the country could charge for a nights b and b in buck house and the rest of the gaffs.

Whatever they charged for the Gaffs you refer you, staying in them won't be on my bucket list and I dare say won't be on yours either Accy.

Doesn’t work like that…maybe if they weren’t here we’d have even less tourism.
Tourists don’t go to France to see their politicians/ leaders and France has a much nicer range of weather to help.

They got guillotined.
I was not making comparisons only saying how much they bring to the economy, France has more tourists because it’s more easily accessible with land borders not an island. France also has a well-developed tourism infrastructure, renowned cuisine, and a long-standing reputation for hospitality, romance, and culture.

we have blackpool, fish, chips and curry sauce, a laugh gained from miserable staff, a pub pick up and a shag under the pier and knife and drug crime. what else do people want.

true, but we are not the type of customer they are looking for. same as poncy restaurants with a picture of squiggles on your plate and a mucky look from a waiter if you ask for steak cooked anyway but raw. you can take a man out of hartlepool but never the hartlepool out of the man thank god.

Now to be stripped of his military titles.
It feels like there is a lot more to come out too.

And yet they seem to do very little when it comes to stopping women and children making a dangerous crossing in rough seas..
