Budgie was the code name for the washer repair man my Mum used back in the early 80's

Think his name was Burgess but he only came out to repair your washer if you asked for Budgie!
Think he was on the fiddle, either moonlighting, on the he sick or the Rock n Roll.

Anybody else come across him back in the day?
