i,d put money on it now that there might have been up to an extra 1,000 at least coming through the gates yesterday if we were in similar circumstances with the wicked warlock gone.

They’re in that state because of the owner.surely, so the buck stops at the top.

mind you think how you would have felt if we had actually lost the game. dragged into an arm wrestle we might not would have done against other opponents. knew we were in for a long afternoon once they took there first long throw in. one of the most boring tactics ever in the game.

Think that's the point. Yesterday was Pools' first clean sheet in over a month. Having 2 proper centre backs made a big difference but the team as a whole showed a lot more fight than it has recently. Solihull are a poor side but you couldn't fault them for the effort they put in and that had to be matched. A really ugly game, but 3 points.

Another 3 against Morecambe a week Tuesday and we'd be doing a Manchester United - two home wins in a row

Watching Fevs post match interview the guy was totally honest about the way he is going about the job. He recognises the situation we are in and the importance of arresting the slide and is putting clean sheets and three points at the top of his priority list. He has chosen a method of achieving that priority. He is not claiming it to be pretty and has openly admitted that it's not, nor is he indicating that the current displays are the totality of his locker. I say give him a chance and see how it pans out.
As for performance assessment, maybe we need to do one on ourselves. Praise is scant at the moment for obvious reasons and we are reacting as we would under normal circumstances( if such a category exists) so let's stand back, take a deep breath or two and let the manager and his players see what they can do. Oh and get right behind them.

think the majority have got behind the players, the last two managers and gave em some slack at times. however what good did it really dp for the managers anyway. think the players are not that stupid not knowing its not them we have an issue with but the ones who employ them.

Pools dealt with the long throw a lot better than Liverpool did…
