This was a feature in ‘Hartlepool Life’ today………a million quid for what…?
We are supposed to be under severe financial constraints national wide, yet….?

Wonder if Michelle Mone and her husband will be putting in a bid to provide a couple lorry loads of gravel and some of her crabs- they love a good slice of tax payers money for doing the square root of fuck all!

I just can’t imagine the average resident saying it’s a great idea as Council”’s are whining about their income to celebrate some body splashing a million on tosh like this in times of financial hardship.
Basing it on Wards is nonsense…my Ward boundary must have been drawn by a monkey sniffing glue as it’s a long curving shape with one end miles away from the other…I suspect it was redrawn for some purpose…. but not for anything to do with common sense.

blame the money given to the arts council in the first place. there ideas of art is miles away from mine and guess many others also.

That money could have paid for a dozen full time litter pickers across the town for a couple of years, but no that's not as important as keeping some "luvvies" onside, hopefully the Reform Doge team will sort all this out.

Couldnt agree more Snowy he definitely has, it’s just the way some of the general public are taken in by him and journos appear to be wary of asking him certain questions about his policies. He has now taken to sit in the public gallery in the House of Commons, spit his dummy out because the Speaker won’t let him speak, he forgets he is in a minority party in the HoC.

You must learn to distrust all politicians like me.
Particularly those in office.
