If you could have any Chairman who would you go for?

I would go for Rod Stewart as he seems a good guy, a footie fan and may be convinced to give his share to HUST when he croaks (get it ? :laugh:

).
He is 80!

I phoned Rod up and asked him if he’d be interested in buying Pools but just said I don’t want to talk about it...so I said look Rod, give it a go, you’ll be a hero with the fans …but again he said it’s a heartbreak….So I tried a different approach and said Have I told you lately you’re perfect for the job…he smiled and replied…I’d need a Reason to believe you mean it….come to think of it Maggie May chip in too…so This old heart of mine says yes, let’s go for it clappp

Our strips would be fuckin' amazing if nowt else, and never underestimate the power of the "pink pound"..!

Unfortunately he was born the wrong side of the Tees - to have been interested in ploughing his riches into Pools :doh:

Borer fans don't realise just how good they've had it under his outstanding stewardship for almost 40 (FORTY) years!

It properly boils my piss when they go on Tees Radio (when they haven't won) and whinge about what a hard time their having. You have to be getting on for 50 years old to remember when they used to regularly get crowds of about 7-8k in what is now the Championship

They need to do a season or two in our shoes, to recognise what committed support looks like and appreciate what they had and continue to have! :angry-tappingfoot:
