Smith in Young on the bench and Doddsy. I like Smithy just hope it's the right decision.

Southend fans will be over the moon, Mancini on the bench.
He ran them ragged last season at roots.

Ole Len has gone for saftey first.

What a joke
Just as predicted Dodds and Mancini dropped for the ‘triers’ they’ll get 20 minutes when we are losing by a goal or two

Only this club would have a player like Mancini and put him behind Luke fucking Charman in the pecking order

Got to agree Loyal.

Couldn't agree more, should start Mancini and keep him on until he's knackered. By then he'll have run the defenders ragged, then replace him with the blunderbuss Charman.
Dodds should be starting too, where's the attacking options to support and provide for Mani D?
Wonder if we're keeping Mancini u der wraps cos there's been interest and they want to keep him sound? I mean seriously Charman ahead of Mancini??

Charman playing far better than Mancini. Mancini more talented but just goes missing sometimes. When he is on he is class but not been the same since injury. Charman works his socks off. Just his finishing

We've got a team full of grafters and we're crying out for someone to provide a spark, we can accommodate Mancini. Charman is like a 10 year old kid, tries like f*ck, but head down and you just know that 99 times out of 100 if he gets within 30 yards of goal he shoots and from ridiculous angles.
Feel sorry for Mani D having to play up top in that team, no support and very few chances created for him game after game.
Lua Lua and Mancini should've been on for Grey and Charman at half time. Even when Dodds was brought on it was as if he'd been told to just defend.

loyal_fan · **Posted:** Sat Dec 14, 2024 6:14 pm

On for a whole 10 minutes, pathetic Lawrence——he should demand a transfer

a couple of players who linked up well against a team in a similar league position get dropped makes perfect sense to me. can see the reason in the keeper change though. did lua lua suddenly go sick because he heard of the team selection. i would have if it was a local game and i heard the starting 11.

Finished clueless manager and the 2 coaches under him will just accept this shit so they run the show next season.

A bleak future.
Don't rule out Newton Aycliffe catching us up.

Mancini Should be starting v Yeovil, Campbell had his chance(s) yesterday, Time for Mancini to be given a chance.
With Dodds at RB and Sheron replacing Feartherstone, Holding MF with Hunter.
That allows us to accomodate Mancini, That shows intent on winning the game.

Football is NOT rocket science!

They will have to rip the script up n tell LL not to interfere from the boardroom if he still lingers at the club..
And if he's happy not to add to the squad then no point in keeping Ronnie Moore on as chief scout.

Leggie Mate you've called it wrong on these 2 London boys.
3rd time lucky hey

But will be a shit load of cut backs anyway.

Looks like the last chance saloon has vanished.

Agree with most of that, although Hunter is nobbut a poor man's Sheron (less energy, less passing ability) so I'd bench him and keep Featherstone in.

But none of it will happen. The same 11 as yesterday will start against Yeovil, barring injuries.

Every time after a non win its the same shit.
Subs on in the wrong minute
Wrong formation
Wrong team selection.

With that menu no wonder it's a roundabout of Failurism.
And the worst thing about it this is the worst standard division 5 ever as 71 pts will get a top 7 finish.

7th mite keep the club alive.
8th or below will be a plug puller.

cannot wait to hear what lennie thinks of yeovil. might as well not play them as they are above us unlike the mighty southend were. being respectfull of opponents is fine, bigging them up isn,t.

We beat them at their place on the first day of the Darren Sarll 'era.' Their home form is still poor but they've won 6 away games already. Doubt he'll big them up too much, he's set his stall out to win home games and anything less than a home win would be the start of a shit Christmas looking at our other fixtures.

Memo to Lennie: We need to SCORE GOALS to win home games.

To be honest nearly all managers in pre-match interviews come up with the same talk. i.e it’ll be a hard game we’ll take nothing for granted etc.

RichyHpool · **Posted:** Mon Dec 16, 2024 6:37 pm

From a quick glance I notice Yeovils away wins have all come against struggling sides. It's a game we need to be winning.

kevin pooles gloves · **Joined:** Tue Oct 07, 2014 2:28 pm **Posts:** 11182

This continuation of 1 up front has confined us to non league shit forever.
Totally wiped out the huge favours we had from the other results around the play offs zone.

Mathematics which some delusionists reckon still keeps us on track to the dizzy heights of 17th top.

Best sequence of results
2 wins in a row twice is evidence of failure n genuine hope.

Fair straight talking assessment so far. No Disney shit. :angry-tappingfoot:

then thats another win for them. got to remember they once beat sunderland in the fa cup and had a season in the championship. we should be grateful to be playing clubs with a history like them and be eternally thankful for even a goaless draw against their might.
