The Poolie Bunker

It's getting on for a year since I last saw Pools win. 1-0 at Bradford, 26th November 2005. Since that game I have been to see them 13 times, and 'cheered' 6 draws, 3 of which were 0-0. The 8 defeats included the home defeat by Tamworth, and the last minute loss at MK Dons.

I've got the anniversary marked on my calendar. Between now and then they've got 7 (possibly 8) chances to win with me as a witness before it becomes a year.

I will be very depressed if I watch 20 consecutive games without a win. Has anyone else ever done such a long stretch?

My first years as a Pools fan were mainly during the Gibson era and the subsequent drivel and were all mainly away games. It was like Christmas if we ever even managed a point.
