The Poolie Bunker

i agree that is shocking especially when it would have ONLY cost 95p on ours.
and if there are a couple of you it is cheaper to get a private hire car.
still you will appreciate the very reasonable service i provide now

I never thought the day would come when a taxi was cheaper for a family than a bus ....got to keep the shareholders happy I suppose

As a car driver of 30+ years, I avoid buses like the plague, and with prices like that there is no way I will be tempted on to them. On the odd day that my car lets me down, it is not worth the hassle of travelling by bus from Billingham to Thornaby, I pay the extra and go by taxi.

A bloke knocked on our door yesterday with a beard.

No wonder i couldnt hear him.

I reckon there's people who have been on buses for years but have never got off. They eat leftover packets of crisps and drink the dregs from coke cans to survive. They stink of piss and have huge beards, and so do the men.

theres no buses from boro to saltburn now on a night
and the last one at about 6 o clock or summat daft like that takes over 2 hours!!

also cant get to guisbro from saltburn

the last train from boro's at 10to10

public transport here is cack diddly

no relation but have you noticed that all the 36 drivers have beards

mind when they set off they are clean shaven

mind arriva doesnt have the monopoly on miserable drivers there are a few at hartlepool believe me.

but you wouldnt believe half the stuff the public do if we wrote a book about it people would think we made half of it up

I can't be arsed with the politics of Bus's....but I do have 1 question....

Why do they stink of scruffy smelly kids????

In the last 5 years I'd say I've been on a bus 6 times and they all stink!!!!

And I don't drive!!!! :sweet:

Walking is the future!!!! :sweet:

because they are mainly used by scruffy smelly kids and piss smelling old people more so since it became free for the old gets.
they get on going over to the headland and stop on until it goes back to the town to save walking across the road
and it is warmer on the bus so they dont have to put the heating on at home

I'd like Mr.PP to answer this....you smelly auld get!!!!

why do you think i specially mentioned the headland

For a government that is allegedly a Government, they are making an utter and COMPLETE bollocks of everything but you fuc kers keep voting them in and then moaning.

The clue is in the ballot box, get 'em out before you all pay more tax than you earn money!!

bingo!! Well said that man!! I rent out two properties, I run a pub business and I work in a very well-paid chemical/pharmaceutical job - but there's people who don't work who probably have more disposable income than I do!!! stupid

How much is a gram these days??

the insinuation of it!!!!

Well there must be a reason you can keep the hours that you do!!

parmo, that's a brilliant idea that just fits in with something I'm doing at the minute. Do you mind if I use it? (serious question)

be my guest (and subsequently hopes that Grabec doesn't go on to make a million from thesis on bus dwelling people)

Wait wait wait!!!

My client Mr Parmopooly and I need to formulate our needs in terms of copywrite, advances, royalties, freebies, drink and grub before we can permit the use of his intellectual property for commerical gain.

Isn't that right Mick?? Eh!! Eh!! (Nudges Parmo coarsley in the ribs).

Mnay thanks, Parmo.
If I make a million on the aforementioned topic, I shall certainly send you half of it!

p.s. Ignore Kev....he knows nothing. Besides I've already decided he is my agent, not yours

You're hoping to make a million by selling one chocolate bar?? How big are the Topics in Durham like??

Oh and make sure there's some hazelnuts in Parmo's half, he needs to keep his stools firm in his line of work.

Make a million by selling one chocolate bar??

Kev, that's a brilliant idea. You don't mind if I use it do you?

Sounds like you need a better Accountant.

I'm off to see him in half an hour!!
