Based on the little I heard of the 2nd half on Pools World before I turned it off in disgust - I'd still play Porter

Unfortunatley...Rae has gone out on loan...

Desperate times call for desperate measures though. However, Joel Porter has been getting gradually better as the season goes on. By the end of the season he'll be back to his best...

That is a team that has EVERY player playing in the position that they should be.Im sick of half the team being played out of position constantly...its been like that now for years....when was the last time we put a team out with every single player in his rightful position?(wheres Mad John?!!!!)

For what its worth,James Brown has started 3 games for Pools and come on as a sub 7 times,he has scored 2 goals for us both times as a sub,every time he has started a game he was put in a 4-3-3 formation(on the right wing) and hasnt scored...He needs to play in a 4-4-2 formation and he will score..as proved today with his 1st touch...he is a natural goalscorer and all this rubbish about him being too young,too raw,not enough games under his belt,give him a chance from the bench with 20 minutes to go,is ridiculous...he is the most natural goalscorer at the club at the minute and should be used accordingly and to his strengths.

If the management at the club cant see that then we are doomed :cry:

I mean its not hard to work out is it? :roll:

And as for getting knocked off the ball all the time,he will do if he's cutting in from the wing being expected to beat 3 defenders on the way and score a 'Boyd-esque' goal from a tight angle.

But give him that quick chance and snap shot in the box and he WILL score,as he did against Port Vale and again today.
