Why cant we go back to that?...you know what i mean, the Clarence Road stand swaying in the wind, both sets of fans in the Town End only seperated by 2 barriers, changing ends at half time :grin: , The Rink End atmosphere sucking another goal into the net.

So many memories :grin:

True like, but those were the days rolf

Sheff Utd bringing a couple of thousand fans here in 1982, id never seen such a big following for a league match, how did the town cope?

Derby County in the F.A Cup in 1984, absolutely superb atmosphere, never seen so many muskers in my life and Dixon and Taller put County to the sword :grin:

I know a lad who coped very well with six Sheff Utd fans sharing the police cell with him!! They were all screaming to be out to get away from HIM!! He got six months in jail after that game!!! Very harsh back in 1981, so that gives you some idea!! He lives over the road from Mutley.
