Just six weeks ago Bury were in 22nd, just a point off the bottom two and only four ahead of Macclesfield. They had just followed up three goalless defeats on the spin with home draws against Barnet and Accrington. I'm sure all of their fans were full of doomy thoughts, wondering where the next win was coming from
Now, after SIX STRAIGHT WINS including away at Lincoln and Notts County, they are eighth, two points outside the playoff places. Just shows that in this shitty division ANYONE can string a run together. How many people saw a surge up the table from Bury coming?
