After Carlton Palmer was quizzed about not naming a keeper on the bench, he said he'd put Daly in net if Stockport lost their keeper.

“I have been thinking about not naming a keeper on the bench for some time...If we had lost out the keeper at Peterborough on Saturday then Jon Daly would have gone in goal."
