Its over 2 months still for the lefty,s to have there most hated day of the year Remembtance Day. The other day a taxi firm have been told by there local council to remove all poppies and Lest We Forget signs from their vehicle as it breaches some rule or reg. Just because of one complaint and we can all give a good guess what type of council Swale is and the type of compainant. Doubt action would have been taken if they showed a ukraine, palestine, rainbow flags with a mention of blm. The full story is on the GB News website for those who want to read more.

Jamie Dosent like us watching Gb news because in his world it doesn't tell it how it is.

Probably get anutha ticking off

But in all seriousness it's an absolute pisstake to the memories of worlds war 1 n 2 and other armed conflicts who gave their lives to stop invaders Takeing over.

I will be eternally grateful to these dead soldiers who up until 4 years ago give us freedom in our own country.

As now it's going to the dogs by the minute.

RIP England

Or maybe Reform can work some magic from 29.

those who want these things banning should actually just read whats on the tin. the day itself is called Remembrance Day, a day to remember those who died for there country who might have had no option but to join up anyway. the day is not some far right event that shows a love in for all wars we have taken part in leaving foreigners with bloody noses.

Odd….one complains they react…hundreds in return react to the ban, they’re morons.

The ‘they’…those who govern us who have views and opinions that are out of touch with ordinary people…..they have their own agenda and busy enforcing it.
The wife’s’ grandfather was killed two weeks before the end of WW1 earning the Military Medal in the process……he was 21 …her mother never saw him because she was born in 1917, I’d like to see them tell her.

I’m confused, who is wanting Remembrance Day to be banned?

Swale Borough Council in Kent. Population 160,000. I had to look it up. That's local government for you - a home for cranks and crackpots of all political persuasions.

Pretty sure Andy Burnham will be laying a wreath at the Cenotaph on November 11th.

No they aren’t, an admin person who works for the council (not a councillor, not a member of a political party) has told a taxi driver to remove stickers on his car because they don’t comply with regulations.

The Labour MP for the area has come out and said he disagrees with the request.

‘MP Kevin McKenna (Lab) said: “Veterans gave so much to defend the freedoms we enjoy today, so it is disgraceful Swale council is asking iCars to remove the poppy from its taxi fleet.

“iCars has proudly supported this cause for three years, while doing incredible work for the Island, providing an important, reliable taxi service for everyone and an invaluable service for people with disabilities.”’

No request for Remembrance Day to be banned at all.

Pleased to hear that. Someone has made a mountain out of a tiny molehill. Pure clickbait.

No one ever said there was….read the first post again, it’s quite clear.
The objection is to some arse in petty authority ordering the removal of stickers.

I did read the first post, then the 3rd post was talking about people wanting it banned, that’s why I was confused.

Nothing confusing there..he simply referred in the third post to the banning of the signage in the cabs by some no mark official….no political Party’s were accused in the making of this farcical petty tragedy.
