anyone ever try these sites?

Freecycle.com is a bit like ebay except everythings free, people advertise stuff they no longer want if. If you want something you just gotta go pick it up, you'd think it would just be a load of junk but i got a monitor and a printer for me mams computer...
Thehungersite.com is also good for tight gets like me, every time you visit the website the sites sponsors donate the cost of one meal to an african aid charity.......don't know how much difference it makes but it cant do any harm!

I've recently registered with local 'freecycle' groups and have found the response to items I've wanted rid of very good. Obviously items cannot be sold, but I think it's a great idea for anyone wanting to get rid of items they no longer want. I've also received a computer chair through freecycle which was on sale at Staples for 17 quid.

You do have to register with Yahoo first though.
