The following statement and comments from Steve Watson and the Northern Echo scribe earlier this week; `The worrying point is, I can’t see anybody learning lessons,” he lamented. “We’re 12 games into the league and we’ve got nowhere near enough points'. 'When a manager admits players are not learning lessons, essentially acknowledging they are not listening, then there’s no way back.'
Sounds familiar?

Reminds me of many a John Askey press conference at the back end of his time at Pools.

It's not just Darlo who are struggling on the pitch at the moment what with us , Spennymoor, Sunderland and Newcastle all struggling ATM it seems like a general North East malaise, only Boro are bucking the trend, this so called former "hot bed" of football is now an easy visit for teams from other parts of the country, not sure if the players just aren't as ambitious or driven as they used to be, it would seem players from further afield are more determined to win things.

Don't forget the Southern teams have more players to choose from

That Darlo Managers job is just as hard as the Pools job.
And nailed on Boro will bottle it again.

Good job the North East fans like drink n drugs to keep the crowds up.
