Does anyone know when they are ready for collection ?????

I popped in Wednesday to get mine, was told back end of the week. Popped in Friday and they still weren't in.

Our kid got told this week but if they not ready use a qrcode which he can't find because he didn't do a screenshot of the purchase.
He's not very savvy so could be wrong.

does show up the weakness the club has as its an important issue for hundreds of fans. doubt they,d be happy if everyone turned up just before ko wanting theres just to gain admission. really its something fans should not be asking. they should be told.

but he should be. there is no excuse for any fan not being able to enter the ground through lack of knowledge. its just the same with matchday tickets. the bare minimum that they should get right and be inclusive of all fans needs and abilities. if you cannot get a ticket to obtain entry you cannot see the game or swell the ranks. does LS know there are problems on ths score.

Bit strange i bought 2 tickets £572 and didnt even get a receipt never mind a Qr code they just confirmed email address and that was it.
My son has got his on his phone where as i paid the xtra to have a card so up to now i have not seen any updates as and when they are ready for collection.

I paid for a physical ticket when I ought my season ticket but haven't been in to collect yet.

However I got an email from TicketCo As which has a sort of receipt with a collection code and a QR code which I suppose will get me into the ground on Saturday if they have no physical tickets.

I would check your emails from around the day you paid if you haven't noticed it. But clearly the days of physical tickets and those who want a physical card or ticket are disappearing.

and the next thing will be no cash sales for anything, even the half time draw and the programme. question i always ask is have fans asked for all this and how much will the club save with not issuing cards or paper match tickets. you do not exactly have to go back many years when all this bollox never happened.

If I turn up on Saturday with the entrance fee in cash, what do I do?

Big strides have been made since the new regime began but the club are letting themselves down with the likes of ticketing, communication and seemingly unable to get a decent media man, preferably in the Simpson mould. Shame really as everything else seems to be being improved.
Fans who have come forward to show their backing and support are concerned about access with only a few days till the season starts
People shouldn't have to turn to forums like this to get information and/or clarity.

From what I can see on the site, I think you’ll still be able to get in, but you will be paying £2 more for the ticket due to buying it on the day, and you will need to queue at the ticket office to buy it, then queue at the turnstile to use it to get in. As it’s the first game of the season, those queues won’t be short.

Thanks, so cash is an option, then that should be fine, 2 queues as you say! Do you need proof of id?

If I buy online, I assume I need to print off some code to show at the turnstile if I don't have a smartphone, which I don't have and should not need to have one to attend a football match.

Why not allow cash or perhaps a debit/credit card scanner at the turnstile on the day, make it much easier!

Best to call the club and ask these questions, I’m only interpreting from what is on the website, most of which is around a season out of date.

Got an email today to say season tickets are available to pick up from tomorrow.

You don't need to go to the main ticket office on the day, you can but you don't need to, there is a booth at the Town End , Clarence Road side next to the first turnstiles where you can buy a ticket, not 100% sure but I think you can pay cash or card here, there is also another booth on the Millhouse side but not sure at which end, You don't need proof of ID unless you are buying a concession of some sort, they may ask for proof of age in that instance. You can 100% pay cash OR card at the main ticket office though but they will ask all your details, email, phone number and address etc.

And all for a division 5 football game.
Maybe understand if it was a league 1 or championship game we're demand outstrips capacity.

Or maybe we doing a dummy run of that future scenario.

So unless something has changed, then you can only pay cash on the day in the main Ticket Office.

You don’t want to end up being 10 mins late into the ground because you’re standing in the wrong queue, you’d miss the first 4 goals….

Unfortunately we are entering a digital world albeit nothing worse standing in a queue whilst someone is fiddling with their phone trying to find how to use it to pay. Here I use cash, if anything goes wrong whilst using a card or telephone can mean spending hours in a bank if you can find one waiting and signing endless pieces of paper. Both of my banks here have closed online banking now and you can only access your account via their apps.

problem is as far as i know those booths only sell standing tickets. if you need a seat you have to go to the ticket office. definatly the case for the clarence road one.

Last season you could get seating tickets at the MH booth, no problem getting concessions either no proof of ID or home postcodes or anything needed.

as others have said you can but have to pay extra for that priveledge but only for standing as we operate a system where you need a seat number for sitting. actually the last few seasons have been fine. we had a choice of eticket or a paper ticket posted to you. i liked to book early to sit in an area near fans i know and not have to wait till the day of the game. by the sounds of it from the club i,ll have to do that in the future because i have not a device to bring to the ground,smart phone, or a printer to print the ticket off they send me. therefore everyone like this will be inconvenianced by queuing up and paying £2 more a game. as you get older its just something else thrown at you to make your last live game closer. where is DEI now. oh it does not suit them, but its our game too.

And, the booth was open about an hour before KO so you could go early pick up a ticket and then grab a couple of pints before heading to the ground and avoiding the queue at the booth. The booth queue moved slightly faster than the main ticket office one.

just checked the matchday ticket site. to obtain a ticket for £2 less you have to book in advance. if you do this on line it does not tell you its eticket you have bought until you have purchased it. talk about creating problems for yourself. just because you have the facility to purchase that way does not mean you have the facility to get it scanned on the day.

So long as I can turn up on Saturday with £24 in cash and get in, I will be happy.

you mean like we used to do and never gave it a second thought. all you needed to know was the KO time, the cost of admission plus that for the programme and a drink and take that money with you to cover it. why and who started to make life complicated.

Give yourself plenty of time to allow for the snails pace the ticket office works at.

think some fans could meet them half way though. back in the days you could pick up a reserved ticket there on matchdays you can get behind people who take an age just to book tickets and insist on trying to buy tickets for future games. on the day pre match for two hours it should be sales only for the game on the day.

Still too slow though by the time you've gone through the inquisition, chosen where you want to sit or stand, and provided proof for concessionary tickets, paid for the ticket, and only then will they print a ticket off.
Imo they should have a number of tickets pre-printed for standing areas and those who aren't fussed where they sit. Not sure why they need name address email for their database, plenty of other sports and entertainment venues don't request it including many of the away games we visit.
Could all be far slicker with automation in the way you buy a ticket for a train at the station.

its what they call progress. its what is called bullshil and bollox. data base my arse. do aldi ask for my details when i spend money there or the pictures if i decide to go there. what more details will the club want off you eventually. marital status, your religeon, sexual orientation and a CRB cheque or whatever its called nowadays. just sell a bloody ticket to a fan and mind your own business.
