It's nearly a month since Cam John was released by York. Still no word on him signing for Pools?

Considering the season he had with us and the fact that he's on record as saying he'd be happy to stay at the Vic, it's about time we heard something one way or the other.

I could have sworn when we signed him on loan, we had the option to make the move permanent. Unless it was dependent on Simon Grayson. I'd love to see him sign, he was generally excellent, even though he had a few wobbles during the season.

Long silences generally mean the player in question will not be signed. After all he says he wants to come to Pools, York have released him but no action. I am guessing that if an offer has been made it was not enough for him and another club have made hime a better offer. Alternatively, the current manager doesnt rate him and is waiting to hear from a Rotheram old boy. We shall see.

I think we're missing out on a blinking good player if we've underbid for his services. He was like a breath of fresh air in that left back position last season. He's strong, he's fast and he's got a battery like the duracel bunny.

I'd really like to see him signed.

I'd sign him- he had a decent season, bar the odd game- which is why he plays in Div 5.

Has any other club come for him…?
Fact is the team will be the managers team and he’ll obviously pick players he rates.

i,d guess he has had a few offers to think over and will pick the best for himself. if we do not get him there will be nothing sinister about it.

I know it's all hearsay, but I spoke to a City fan about 2 weeks ago who claims to know Cam personally & she reckoned at that stage, he hadn't had a single enquiry.

I agree with everyone else that he has been excellent for us this season and we should sign him up. I just have a gut feeling, he wont be coming. Hope I'm wrong.

I'm wondering if we're looking at Oli Bainbridge for left back. Released by Sunderland and was getting rave reviews when out on loan at South Shields.
