Give Feathers the job. He seems to have the backing of his team mates . Confidence seems to be coming in the final third . At last . If we can be in the playoffs by Xmas it will be an incredible achievement considering the depth of the squad

Why would he take it, he is player coach, if he takes the job he is gone before the end of the season with the current "board". Stay as he is is as interim until next season is the obvious choice

Simple, on past evidence, you get the managers job and any drop in form you walk the plank.
If you’re a coach, you’ve got a more stable income prospect as you can slip back into your old role.
Leave things as they are and pay him managers wages.

I must admit I'm warming to Fev, he's got us playing good possession football but with an attacking edge too. Miley and Campbell are always looking to play on the front foot and Campbell had another very good game yesterday. He's also managing to put out the same starting 11 in consecutive games which helps and as a team we're improving game by game imo.
After the first 10 minutes I was so confident we'd win I actually put a bet on us at 6/4, I rarely bet on us as they usually let me down.
A couple of winnable, on paper, games coming up followed by a tricky run. I'd leave Fev in charge until the end of the season.

RSFC are know through reputation to Mess up, Maybe they cannot see the wood for the trees.

Fevs has started to build a little reputation as a good coach and possibly as a manager (early days)
Thing is other clubs will also have noticed, Over to RSFC, Don,t *uc* up.

we should all stop pushing fevs for the job full time. raj will be watching this and he,ll do the opposite to upset fans yet again.

Featherstone's interviews have changed. He has become more confident and the last few he was saying this could be the last match. After Saturday it was if i get the job. Perhaps that is the clue. For his sake, I hope he doesn't, but he has certainly done a great job and deserves it, installing Hunter and a reformed Campbell to the line up.

unlike many caretakers he hasn,t just carried on from the previous manager but has put his stamp on the side. the worst thing that could happen would be him getting the job and the team starts to fail. lets face it that could happen with AN Other and he,d be in good company with a few decent managers we were too quick to sack. somehow if he did bring success to the club and was treated well i do not think he,d be as quick as challinor to move on.

Why not just keep things as they are, keep Fevs on as interim manager and assess in the summer?

Agreed, Feaths (and Lenny?) has turned a car crash into 'this bus drives itself'. I can't see either Parkinson nor Beech being welcomed with open arms by the remaining fans, especially given the impact (or lack of such) that every 'manager' that Raj Singh has appointed since Dave Challinor has had on the club.

And now Mr Parkinson enters the field?
