think they are for the love of animals. nobody forced them to do the job in the first place and individual ones are just following the rest. just a bit of leeway needed from them regarding payments from those who fall into being poor but unable to get help from PDSA etc. what comes next if nothing happens. proof of money before you can re home or purchase a pup where only the rich are allowed to own a dog to become a fashion statement of their wealth.

If Mutley's vet was in it for the love of animals, then why not offer to do the operation at cost.
No way does it cost that much to perform the operation.
Or are their hands tied!!!

And BTW....Jess is back to her normal self now....running about, chasing her ball etc etc.
I asked the vet at the time if it would heal itself and he said 9 times out of 10 it WON'T!!!
So glad I never paid that £5,200!!!!!

£800…..but that figure you mentioned is ridiculous…our Ruby had a cyst removed from her leg £1500 in August.PM me which vets.
