Askey made him sound like a great signing but he never looked anything special even on the rare occasions he was fit enough to play.

mind you looking at his cv je was just the right person for the club and signed twice by nigel clough. a real one who just never come off and never looked for once the player we thought we had got. actually expected a player like hunter but much better.
