DW has got to admit, he is fallible, stick Ben Clark in for Antwi
and Joel for Moore.
Also take a good long look at Ali Gibb, compare him to a good RB
like McCunnie and realise that he's never going to make the
transformation.

Gibb played well when he came on the other day, I entirely agree with the other two; Wilson must be concerned with the hole in defence. Ben Clark's pace would have stopped the second goal against Leeds. Clark and Nelson works - period!

Up front for all his huffing and puffing Moore does not seem to have an eye for goal, we need to do something about that and I think Porter is that something. As Chip said: two goals from open play between the front two is not good enough.

We played extremely well.

But our defence let in two soft goals.

If we keep doing that we'll keep losing.

I have no confidence in Elliott, Antwi or Budtz to keep many clean sheets.

I'd be more confident if Clark started every match.

Ali Gibb did ok on Saturday.

Ritchie Barker could still be playing now and wouldn't have scored, it was just one of those days for him (I hope!)

Humphreys had a great game in midfield.

Porter looked nowt when he came on.

Apart from that header which was apparently over the line came from the head of Richard (!) Barker.

Can't think why Gibb came on and not Foley. Which of the two last scored two goals, which is what we needed?

Agree that Ben was arguably the most consistent performer last season. Antwi should wait his turn.

Agree that Moore has also had his turn. Start with Porter next time.

We were unlucky though we did play well, but team selection might have made a difference, especially putting Foley on.

PS Still think that we should have signed up Adam Boyd

I was sat towards the back of the stand there, up from the right hand corner of the picture.

Trust me it didn't even touch the line let alone cross it. How he saved it or it didn't bounce in I don't know, but it didn't. I have no axe to grind on this point as the points are in the bag.

As an opposition fan it could give me a little thrill to tell you 'you woz robbed' on that one, but no, nowhere near (well, six inches, but what's that between friends  ).

How far back exactly?? Even from the front row you have to have a bleedin' theodolite to estimate how far in front of the line it was, particularly with a goalkeeper sprawled all over it. Is that the 'Slow Motion Replay Stand??'

The keepers body position suggests that it could well be over the line, but that is probably what prevented a goal been given as you can't see the ball and we all know that you can't give what you can't see.
